Alpha Centauri
Anyone know these guys? Excellent Hard Rock act out of Boston, Mass.

Intelligent, insightful, hard and melodic at the same time.

I recommend them to to you who like great music to check em out.

my mate likes em alot... but personally i cant get into them much, theyre decent and i can acknowledge that but i cant get into em enough atm sad

Alpha Centauri
Cool.

If you can, check out some stuff from the "Jupiter" album. That's more experimental. "Antenna" is more hardcore/experimental. The older ones like "Until Your Heart Stops" are just smash mouth, hard hitting hardcore Rock.

Deathblow
I like Tides Of Tomorrow and Antenna, I like the way they were heading with those two, but the only other album of theirs I have (I forget the name now, the cover is red & black and has 'Cave In' across some guy's cheek), which I got after those two, never grabbed me.

According to a friend of mine, Jupiter is more alt rock than hardcore, is that true?

ElectricBugaloo
I've heard a couple of songs, but could never really get into 'em. One of the DJs that used to work here was really into them and had a radio show where he would play new music that wouldn't get played otherwise, and he usually put on a Cave In track. I miss that DJ.

Alpha Centauri
Yeah Deathblow "Jupiter" is more Alt Rock/Experimental. "Antenna" is a blend I think. That album rules too, even if for the guitar riff intro at the beginning of "Anchor".
