Yeah, the second was pretty clever. The odd thing is I was actually trying to edit the trailer earlier today for kicks before I knew about this thread.

The voice over on the second is from the original Star Wars trailer. Pretty unique idea.

The first one sounds chinese.

wait which one has the guy talking? Thats the one that has the trailer from the very first Star Wars as the voice over.

I mashed the two trailers together because I think the fantastically vast visual scope of the new one goes well with the pompous narration and elegant string music of the older.

It wasn't necessarily done for the appeal of vintage Star Wars material.

first of all the image is somehow distorted and the siund effects dont fit the image. and the quality is low

I should have pointed these things out from the get-go:

I had difficulty exporting the 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Adobe Premiere.

There was no complex pre-planning involved. Very loose cut and past, trial and error. I wasn't allowed much flexibility on the second one, given the source sound material.

Yes, I compressed the files to make them faster for downloading.

It's a project file for Windows Movie Maker. You can't open it, he needs to export it to an actual file that plays the movie.

.MSWMM = Microsoft Windows Movie Maker

It was fine. Now... if you had the Darth Vader march in there... then it would have been a lot better!

I don't know how to make it into a movie file.

And it's nothing special. I just put both of them together and put a different song onto it.

If you go not one or two options below, instead of Save As, it says "Save Movie File"...not hard

I've got it saved to my computer but yousendit.com and ezShare.com are not uploading anything I have right now so I'll have to wait to post it.

dude, honestly, leave the editing to the professionals. if i saw the teaser put together that way when it came out, i would have no interest in seeing the movie.

What an odd music selection, however, for what will be a dark, foreboding final installment of a cinematic space opera.

The only reason I chose that song was b/c

(1) I don't have any star wars songs.
(2) I just wanted to see what it would look and sound like with that song.
