anyone saw this asian horror flick

i enjoyed it and it is pretty scary

its about a blind woman who gets an operation to make her see again, it is successful but she occasionly starts to see what the previous owner of the pair of eyes saw

I thought it was, well, stupid. Like so many Asian "horror" movies, IMO, great idea but bad execution.

A kid running around asking about a report card, set to the theme of The Sixth Sense just isn't that scary to me.

The Eye is one of my favourite Asian horror films, lets see what they do with the remake. Angelica Lee, who is the lead, is a wonderful actress. Didn't scare me, but some good jump scenes.
Fabulous cinematography and visuals, and I loved the ending.

The sequel is decent also, with Shu Qui. Got some good scenes in that are worth watching.

its the normalcy in which the asian ghosts act which makes them creepy.. you encounter them and they seem normal until all the sudden they act violent or start engaging in a disturing behaviorism. The Eye was definately one of my faves.. Im too tired of european/western ghosts or monsters now

i hope the remake will be just as good as the original
i enjoyed the remake of the grudge better than the original film
