this is out of dc and marvel who do u all think are the 5 fastest from fastest to least

Flash, Quicksilver, SS, Superman, Thor are all up there

All the heralds travel at warp speed so any five of them would fill out the top five, but if they're not counted.

As to runners, I can only think of a few... QuickSilver, Flash, and Speed Demon.

As to the fastest ever characters, those who have long range teleportation would be considered in this category.

flash is the fastest true but all of u for got who the second fastest was and that is Ogun he can also reach the speed of light

Makkari = an eternal who hangs around Quasar most of the time. Competed and won a competition for the fastest being in the universe (which was organised by The Runner, which included a lot of aliens)... ran so fast that he got stuck on superspeed mode, everyone around him was frozen, so he could only speak to one other superspeedster... some guy called "Buried Alien" wearing torn up a red suit.

EXCLUDING abstracts, heralds, Primordial cosmics(Galactus,Imperiex etc,) and Ubergods(Zeus,Odin, etc),teleporters and dimensional travelers

1.) Flash(Wally West)
2.) GL Corps(warp speed)
3.) Every other Flash(including Zoom, and Max Mercury)
4.) Superman/J'onn J'onnz/white martians(90%SOL)

i guess you could say other atlanteans but N E 1 not in top5 is irrelevant.

excluding all the afore mentioned:

in marvel

1.)the runner
2.)Gladiator(like runner he can transcend light but his hyperbole is more toward STR and Invulnerbality)
3.)one could say Makkari(since he won the race)
4.)all the others who competed in that race(since they were all lightspeed runners to begin with)
5.)hyperion(though not light speed he is quick)
6.)Quicksilver(regular earth 616 has him enhanced by the High Evolutionary, saying that his speed his unknown) but the newer versions are still pretty quick.

honorable mentions would go to Northstar just under quicksilver for land speed. and Namor concievably should be comparable to Aquaman under water but his water speed has never been stated, even though in the air his 60mph is nothing to right home about, still he deserves a seat somewhere.

another honorable mention would go to magneto. Theoretically, since he controls magnetizm he should be able to ride on magnetic waves which travel at the speed of light.

i reluctantly give one to Thor cuz he's a god, and he can teleport, and travel thru dimensions, but he has been shown to travel at the speed of lightning.

quick silver is not that fast, he isnt close to SS, or any cosmics

in 616 his speed has never been determined, so i really dont know how fast he is currently

according to marvel directory his fastest speed ever clocked at is 175 mph, witch i dont like at all, i think he should be, and is way faster

That was his original speed when he first came onto the scene in '63. Since then, as most superheroes have gradually just become more powerful, he's been seen doing stuff a bit faster, but never really updated. A few years ago in his solo series, he was first enhanced by Fabian Cortez, who's mutant powers are to boost the powers of others. Later still he was exposed to Isotope E which greatly increased his powers, beyond the sonic barrier but he has not yet had it appropriatly gauged. He was also shown briefly to have powers beyond just running, as when concentrating upon shackles which bound him, they shattered, being told by an anonymous benefactor "You have Magneto's blood, you have the potential for great power" or something like that. I liked his solo series a lot and it's a shame no one has really used him since then, except for Perez giving him a retarded new costume and the most messed up hair style I've seen in awhile.

Marvel Directory possess old file, it's not updated.Actually Quicksilver's real limits of speed powers are unknown, thank to exposition to Isotope E that has unlock his powers he can reach Mach speeds, in an Avengers issue they were fighting a giant Hulk and cross the Atlantic Ocean in a few minutes and come back with Bruce Banner on his shoulders.

If the "we're not talking about who's your favorite" is meant to slap down Quicksilver, K3VIL is correct. Quicksilver's powers were amplified first by Fabian Cortez, then by Isotope E. He now surpases the sound barrier and he has still yet to push himself to any limit. During that time, a mysterious benefactor also urged Quicksilver into focusing on his power and he demonstrated other abilities which still have yet to be discussed in further detail.

Aurora, Northstar's sister also deserves mention on the list, as she and Northstar have identical powers.

why hasn't anybody mentioned nightcrawler, he teleports instantaneously ( though someone like flash might be faster short distance(short distance meaning like a hundred thousand miles) because nightcrawler has to think before he teleports)

Flash can put down Nightcrawler and then eat his breakfast then go helping the JLA against a new enemy before you can hear the BAMF effect of his teleportation

Nightcrawler's teleportation abilities have a limited range, 2 miles I think.
