Ok, so i got this file and forgetting to virus scan it opened it. it put something called begin 2 search on my computer. what it does is highlights random words on the screen and turns them into links (they turn a shade of green also), and god knows what else its doing.

I did the virus scan and got rid of what i could.

I ran adaware and it seems clean, yet the problem still persists.

I even got rid of the dll file, but still no solution.

yes i have IE, because frankly the rest of the family wouldnt be able for mozilla or any other browser.

Anyone know what to do?

thx yerss, although i never had the toolbar, but the green text is still there after running the uninstaller, i'm just gonna have to wait till i can update my anti-virus. then maybe it'll be ok.

it shouldn't be an anti-virus, it should be a spyware one

i know, but adaware wasn't helping at all. i eventually just did a system restore, cleaned it right up, although i hate doing that. thx for the help anyways.

try to update Adaware if you can,
And what Anti-virus are you useing.

you should probably get a firewall too.....
