I was thinking, I would really like it if when volume 2 comes out later they come out with a movie called "kill Bill" that is both volume 1 and 2 in a long movie, with the scenes that were cut from volume 2 as well...it would be long but awsome.....I would love to see the whole thing like it was one movie!!!!!

Yes, anomaly. It would be good to watch both movies merged together instead of having it cut in the middle and maybe add a bit where Tarantino cut both movies. That would be cool!

www.comingsoon.net had an article, forget which specific one, but it said afterwards that QT is going to release both volumes on one DVD. It makes sense, since it was originally going to be two movies.

Just cut out some credits and the Bride-gets-shot-in-the-head scene from the beginning of two; and you have one long movie

The thing is that I really hope the boxed set will contain the uncut DVD along with vol.1 and vol.2 special editions.I've read that many deleted scenes will be included to these two.One of them is the David Carradine-Michael Jai White fight which ends up with Bill cutting White's throat and blood splattering the screen!

And I don't care about buying Vol1, I did that knowing the SE would come out. If I'm really going to cry about it, I'll sell them back first. Just like the Matrix trilogy.

The point is that the current DVD has very little extras,the boxed set though is coming quite soon and will be fantastic.If you read what Miramax people said you'll realise they will release lots of DVDs before the box set.It's not about crying about it!Besides I like having it since I watch it all the time.I'm not that regretful but now I'll wait for the box set.

MAN,i just saw Kill BIll 2 DVD's menu...it SUX!!

That's why I'm gonna try and wait for Christmas.Miramax does this on purpose.Releasing a DVD with hardly any extras or a bad menu will make people wanna buy the upcoming ones.It's not easy for me to wait.And I bought vol.1.I'll try to be patient and resist buying vol.2.That's gonna be a little hard though!

I hate it when they do that box set stuff. I already own the first one, so of course I wouldn't buy the box set. I'll just buy KB2 when it's released on it's own.

Yeah but the special edition boxset will include the original uncut 4 hour version, and we can hope there are many special features.

It's the uncensored version they did for Japan......none of that black and white footage to mute out the blood........

I'm assuming that since they took the time to cut it that they will release it here in America........probably after the R rated box set comes out though

The Elle/bride fight was origanly diffrent?

You probably can watch the deleted scenes, but fat chance of having them in the actually movie. QT has said in earlier films that the movie that you see, is the movie you are intended to see in the first place. The deleted scenes are just for extra enjoyment but probalby wont be in the final cut.

This doesnt mean that volume 1 and 2 will be together.

I put off buying Kill Bill Volume 1, hoping there would be a box set. This thread makes me happy. ^_^

So, are they going to come out with one disc that has all ten chapters in sequencial order without the first two scenes from Kill Bill Vol. 2, which weren't all that necessary? That's what I want to see.

I will probably buy it, even though I am happy with my uncut version from Japan, my hong kong version box and my region 2 version yay.

i heard in an interview with QT that Kill Bill will be released as a boxset, but the film will be recut into one film and edited differently to the cinema release he also said he would put loads of extras on.

Anyway, when does the Kill Bill Special Edition Box Set come out? At one point I heard December. Do they have a date yet? I'm asking US time but if you know other dates you should probably say them too for everybody else.

No idea. When I got Vol 2 at Best Buy they gave me a storage box that I could put both films in so I basically already have a box set. But as far a special edition goes I'm not sure when they are going to release it.

Anyways I don't think I'll be getting the special edition box set, only because I got Vol.1,and 2 with the box. So technically there's no need for anyone that got Vol.2 at Best Buy to get the box set, unless they're dyinng to see the Special Features/Deleted Scenes.

December would be the logical time to release a boxed set/special edition, in order to cash in on the holiday season. Still, I am hoping it will be soon, as I am looking forward to all the special features that seemed to be lacking from the orginal releases.....

Well, as December has come and gone, and I haven't heard a whip about the Ultimate Edition's release, I'm beginning to doubt its existence. But I won't give up hope!

yeah.. another thing about the boxes, have you guys seen the french boxes??? vol 1 got a 3 or 4 disc set and vol2 got a 2 disc edition!!
