There are a few good books I truly love. They include:
Dragondoom by Dennis L. McKiernan,
Subterranean by James Rollins,
and The Sword of Shannara by someone whose name has eluded my mind.

I really like the Redwall series

The Kingpriest Trilogy, by Chris Pierson. It's a part of the DragonLance Saga, and they are powerful stuff. My favorite series of them all, I would say

I would recomend the wheel of time.
