Hello and welcome to the official quidditch thread. We have two weeks to prove its not a roleplay so first rule no roleplay. So um hopefully before when we tried to start it you had started making teams...so first each house pick a captain and positions and post it...Im pretty sure I still have slytherins on my computer...Try to avoid un-necissary posts cause I dont want to be shot for that...so just post your position here...and house just incase I have no clue who you are...thankies!

so how exactly r we gonna work these quidditch tournaments

^^ thats what I was trying to explain but no one got that...and the quidditch matches are gonna be like...um...best way to explain is to give an example:

say hufflepuff and gryffindor are playing and say maika wants to pass the quaffle to carne (both chasers) so maika would ask carne a trivia question (a quidditch question or if we run out any HP question) and if carne gets the question right they made a complete pass...if not the quaffle goes to the first hufflepuff chaser who shows up...now say gryffindor goes to score...Shaz (keeper) would ask the player trying to score a question if they get it right they score...and so forth...Im trying to work out how I can get seekers more involved so ill get back to you on that

Its a good idea Jess, in the same time qualifies for IHCT very well, I have to admit that a RP would be more adequate but it deserves to give it a try. So. I saw that only the Slytherins have a complete team, maybe you could bump in the common rooms and urge them to get the teams ready and post it here.

yea...I dont think we'll need to get all the teams together to just do a like idea of one so Phoe can see what its like (but getting teams would help)...but for the first game I say Slytherin against whoever gets a full team set up next (which will prolly be Gryffindor...they seem pretty far along with a team...I think) so I'll get that together...then I can be the ref. and explainer of rules...

sha...after like certain amount of questions are asked (or whenever the other team feels like it) they have a really hard question for the seeker and if you get it right if not you just miss and nothing happens...i dunno...but we need another team to be set up soon...cause I want to have the match by the end of this week...maybe Ill just give Gryffindor a deadline to have a team

PS. and you guys/girls could sustain from social activities, cause the mods might think its another social thread and might close it (we were warn in the past that there are many social threads at Harry Potter forum). So you could either go to 3broomsticks or Hogwarts cafe for general stuff or any other thread for specifi topics.
