the fellowship snarl him.

the mouth snarls angrily.

the mouth recognises this voice.

MOS: ahhh old grey beard. i have a token i was bidden to show thee

the mouth produces the mithril shirt. gandalf looks shocked. them gimli and legolas and aragorn look on deavastated.

he smiles and looks at gimli. gimli looks angry. legolas holds gimli back.

MOS: who would have thought that one so small could endure so much pain.

gandalf looks at the shirt.
