Got this idea from another forum...

In case you don't know what a haiku is, it's a 3 line poem, and the only rules is that the first line is 5 syllables, the second line is 7 syllables, and the third line is 5 syllables.

Example:

water

Water flowing on
Down the crystal-like river
But it is wet too.

So what happens is one says a word, and the next person writes a Haiku inspired by that word.

Example:

"Water

Water flowing on
Down the crystal-like river
But it is wet too.

~ Next Topic: Sky

"Floating in the blue
Like many boats on the sea
Live clouds in the sky

But if you say it aloud, it sounds wrong like that cry I'm doing Eng Language, I know I'm wrong. But I prefer it as three.....

and btw, here in England (where English was invented) we say "evry"... two syllables... just as "cholmondoley" has only two syllables... its the pronunciation that counts in haiku, not the spelling...
