Hello everyone, I first want to say that it is good to see a forum as this one, and I wish I would have known about it a long time ago, but you know how it goes.

I know that I am new but I also want you to know that I want to be apart of this forum because I am a big movie fan, and not just of one movie but many. I pretty much keep a big collection of DVD’s that I have purchased and I might want to share my thoughts and views on different films.

I just want you all to know that if I happen to bring up a discussion from the past that it isn’t my intentions to cause any problems. People come and go and over time there are new members that are coming into the forum just like me, and it is impossible for us or them to know what has already been discussed.

Everyone has their own opinion and sees things differently then others do. I truly want my presents here to be fulfilling as any other forum out there on the net, but so far this is really the only forum in which I can come to know and discuss different movies new and old and discuss with anyone that is willing to listen or to participate in the discussion.

I know that this post might be a little off the wall, but I really need to say this because I really feel that this site is very cool, and it gives me the opportunity to read reviews on the newest movies, to the oldest movies. This in return can save me the time in going to a movie and have it turn out to be something that I should have just waited for the DVD to come out.

I already have a few people in here that seem to know their stuff, and it is those people who I can count on for a review, good or bad. See you all on the inside and can’t wait to meet you all.

Think of it this way, how many discussion areas that you have been apart of ended wishing you never even knew about it? I will admit that I have been apart of a few. The ones you just would rather forget about then to ever mention them.

As an explanatory note, rwoonacott, the only newbie in a while that people really pick on is JM says things she can't back up and then ignores all the rebukes. I myself try to stay out of this argument, but I'm clarifying that you will do just fine. Welcome.
