I think speed wise they are about the same, but who'd win in a fight?

I think speedwise, Max mercury is a lot faster cuz even Wally said that max was considered to be some sort of zen guru by other speedsters. Among all the speedsters, I think the slowest is quicksilver

I heard Quicksliver got a speed upgrade somewhere.

Quicksilver thanks to Isotope E get upgraded to he can reach mach speeds, probably near mach 10 or superior.
Max Mercury anyway has:
More experience, he's a speedster from more time.
More power, thanks to his link with SpeedForce.
More speed, he can reach lightspeeds, so Max take this.

So your saying Max would take down Magneto's son dude?

Even with his upgrades Quicksilver cannot reach near the speeds of Max. Max has this one easy.

I think Max gets him DC Speedsters are just the fastest (Speed force)
But Quicksilver is cool nontheless
