I found this book really quite eerie. Has anyone else read it? Can you imagine bringing anything home that is worse than Heathcliffe eek! The second phase is somewhat depressing when set against the first phase.

A question arising from Lawrence Olivier's adaptation - is Heathcliffe or Hindley the worse character? I would have said Heathcliffe, but the Olivier version made it out to be Hindley confused

I bet hockey has read it wink

I once brought home a box of mint chocolate matches gratuituously, but I'd never have brought Heathcliffe back from Liverpool! What was the old fool thinking I ask you! eek!

A pity the local authorities hadn't already smashed him up...

I read this and found it to be pretty good but quite depressing at times.

I loved it all the way. I have read it 5 times now.
