Sam Raimi is making another Evil Dead, finally the second coming is here.( ps theres probably already been a thread about this hasnt there?, who cares, hooray!)

hopes will be raised but the movie will probably be a let down

is there any way of confirming this. i'd like your source. cos bruce cambell (look, i didn't look up how to spell his name ok) has said he wouldn't do another one, and how could there be an evil dead without ash?

but where are they going to go. i know the ending of Army of Darkness left an opening but look at it like this:

Evil Dead 1: Horror
Evil Dead 2: horror/comedy
Evil Dead 3: Comdey

what the third gonna be, romantic comedy? war movie? documentary? mime? done completly in aremayic with no subtitles and directed by mel gibson?

Its apparently, from what I understood, a remake of Evil Dead 1, without Bruce Campbell. They are finding a new director... not Sam Raimi, and the way I figure, a remake of Evil Dead 1 would HAVE to be horror.

I just read that Zac Braff may play ASH in this. Also rumors of Campbell directing too.
