I've been trying to find Men Behind the Sun for years now, I can't believe my parents found it.

please do give us an update on weither the 4disc Dawn of the dead is worth buying if you already own the US Cut. Just curious if the Extended and Euro cuts are worth shellin out more to replace the other version

The extras on the 4 disc, so I read, make all the difference. Especially the tour of the Monroeville Mall. I can;t believe BF didn't already have that!

Then again, I don't own it, either, but hope to change that after this weekend.

Yeah, I was in no rush to buy it really, I had the one disc edition and knew I could just wait untill christmas to get it, as to avoid paying for it myself.

From what I can tell the special features on the fourth disc look really awesome. If you're a big fan of the film I'm sure you'd be happy with this version, Zilvers.

i got Misery, and might i say, what a ripper of a movie it is!

and in the sales on the day after chirstmas they had the Alien Quadrilogy for $80, no discount ad Target, then in a dvd bin with all the other dvds they had each of the Alien movies (with all the special features the quadrilogy has) for only $12 each.... dumbasses

men behind the sun is quite a sick puppy hope u got a strong stomach,ive owned the australian release of men for around 10 years now,they actually got away with releasing it uncut on vhs in aus by saying it was a documentary therefore should be released uncut as its educational,lol,btw i also own parts 2 and 3,allso sick,lol,the autopsy scene is a real autopsy btw i read an interview with the director t.f. mou where he explained how they got consent to film the autopsy,ive seen it once i dont like the movie leaves a bad taste in the mouth,its basically chinese propaganda,but had to see it and buy it,lol as im a collector of all things uncut

It looks to be somewhat hard to come by, much less find cheap, used. Guess I'll end up paying full price.

i just watched it, it wasn't bad, but it ends with questions being asked. it has music that at times seems out of place, but is generally fairly good.
the actual movie is fairly dark, the visuals are farily good. there is a lot of sex in it, normal man on woman, lesbian and threesome as well, and at times it seems more prominent than the actual plot of the movie. the chicks have good ****, and are pretty attractive, but the guys are pretty ordinary. the movie is english and an 80s movie. out of 10 i give it 5.

I got about 50 quid in vouchers, and bought the 2 disc uncut TCM,
Evil Dead Boxset, and all of the Tremors movies.

yeah.......a few years ago. you can buy it on deepdiscount for like $25.........I just never bothered because I already have the first Omen on dvd.......

I got The Fog: Special Edition 2 disc set in a lovely green dvd box which opens up.

I got The Thing: CE, Alien: The Director's Cut, and 28 Days Later for Christmas.

Hmm..used some giftcards and got "Resident Evil: Apocalyse" and the 4 disc "Dawn of the Dead" set.

Hell, yes. I'm a bargain shopper. I buy most of my movies used from pawn shops, and they are as good as new.

Today, I went to two Best Buy stores, used my gift card to get 2 copies of the Pioneer TCM 30th Ann. DVD for $6.99. Now, Wal Mart sells it for $13.88. I returned one copy to 2 different Wal Marts and got $14 store credit PER movie. I essentially made $14 store credit at Best Buy into $28 store credit at Wal Mart.

I paid $5 cash difference for "Manchurian Candidate", and with the store credit, "Conan: The Complete Quest", it cost me $0.68 cents.

Taa-dow, bitches. That's how a DVD fiend shops.

I'm only buying used DVD's from now on

Ohhhhh, yes. I got "A Time to Kill" yesterday for $4 at Pawn America. I've bought PLENTY of my movies used, either online or at pawn shops. It's the last place a lot of people think to look, and sometimes they have the best prices. Pawn chains are the way to go. Cash n' Pawn sells their DVDs, regardless of title, for $6. All of them. Pawn America here in MN has 3 price tiers, Yellow - $4.99, Red - $7.99, and Green - $9.99.

Used is the way to go, IMO.
