Ok, some people may say I'm crazy and in denial that the trilogy has finally come to the end, but come on!!! After make such a great piece of work do you think they're actually going to not touch the prelude to why the Lord Of The Rings even exsisted?!? Every fan that has read the books know that The Hobbit would make a great movie! It's filled with dragons, orcs, goblins, elves, and every other creature found on Middle-Earth. I'm mean seriously picture it in your head, woud it not be an amazing film. Ofcourse, Peter Jackson and his team would have to do it, because I think they're the only ones that could do it justice and could make it in away that would have greatness like that of the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy. I dunno.....I mean if you look at this situation back in 1996, 1997 when talk first began about making these films it would have made a lot more sense to create The Hobbit see how the public went with it and then create a HUGE Trilogy. But now since we've seen the world loves Tolkien, I just know some day The Hobbit will be brought to the big screen with the same skill and art that the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy was......I dunno just THINK ABOUT IT! and send me a reply

I agree that it could make a great movie, but imo only with loads of changes of the storyline and especially the style - and it would be a sin to do that
So *if* they do it, I just hope they take as much time for the project as they did for lotr... Middleearth simply needs & takes time and thats unfortunately something filmbiz (&audience) usually doesnt have

Exabyte I totally agree......but after watching all the appendices of the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy and seeing how much time and passion was put into that film by every single person that worked on it, I have complete faith that they would give The Hobbit more then enough time.....

It would be cool if they make a Hobbit movie before Ian McKellon dies, but...I kindof doubt they will. (But I hope they do) It's just completly different from LoTR...a lot more silly
