Yeh i did it comes out on DVD in the UK soon. I've gotta say (if your from the UK) that nothing is more addictive than a bacon sandwich or a good old english breakfast. It's sort of like speed but you don't feel energetic or depressed. Magic mushrooms own though.

I remember I went to a movie in Central London (saw the Hulk)
and it cost me 12 quid - and plus I had to get that sweet popcorn ( that we dont have in american ) and when I was watching the movie - and realizing how crappy it was -- i was thinking I paid almost $20 for this movie-- which is rediculous

I'd have to say I had the best times on speed, I stayed happy, never felt depressed like I did on other drugs. I used to drop in mood at random moments on MDMA or 'shrooms but speed never let that happen And the comedowns weren't difficult to handle. No more drugs now though, I detoxed and I'm staying that way. The only hit I need regularly is nicotine And caffeine....

For me crack and oxycontin. Speed doesn't do much.

The only drug that made me happy was speed, but I stopped that, simply cost too much... now I just smoke pot to chill out.

I would smoke pot if I knew for definite I wasn't gonna spiral back into the festering pit of temptation I only just climbed out of I don't trust myself.

Well, as much as I hate to admit it, it did for me. My guard was always down, I smoked a hell of a lot of pot at 16 I was young, impressionable and all of my friends were older. I had an older boyfriend whom I wanted to please etc etc *yawn*

I'm probably old enough now, at 20, to be able to control what I do and keep things in moderation but I'm not willing to risk losing things just yet

Pot is addictive no matter what anyone says, Im hooked!!! I have smoked daily for over ten years now, and decided to quit smoking a few weeks ago. It is driving me mad. I have taken up cigarettes, Kava juice, coffee, and I stil wish I could rip a bong!!!

Amen I mean people smoke? why do people smoke? It doesnt calm you down because its been proven that psychologically it makes you more aggressive and agitated. Also with many drugs it can have pharmapsychological effects such as give you dead-dreams or even halucinations depending on how many you smoke. But theres nothing wrong with shrooms they get the job done and you feel great.

Shrooms are essential. Only if you know how to gain everything you need to from the experience of being high of them though. I can speak from having an experience with them, after you have, you see things in a different light and it provided you hold onto and appreciate all the new perspectives gained, you will come out of it better. The trick is to use the drugs once or twice, or in rare occasions, then try to get back to where your mind was on the trip, without the drugs.

I had a debate with a friend over this who said that Marijuana is illegal coz it's worse than tobacco and more addictive, it leads to worse drugs etc etc. Their quote was "People who mostly try marijuana, decide to try more and more and more drugs and in the end will likely end up on Heroin or something."

My answer to people who say smoking or taking any drug will lead to taking more, just because they are drugs, would be this:

no way is pot a "gateway drug". its up to the individual just how they will get high, not a freaking weed growing out of the ground. the smoking of pot is a SYMPTOM and not the cause. the CAUSE of a kid turning into a junkie/cokehead/speedfreak etc. is a lack of love for life, and a need to fill voids (and other various reasons depending on the person im sure)

Speed, IMHO, is a feminine drug. In my experience the males I've known have always reaped far worse ensuing effects than the lasses. I used to be able to take gram after gram, and fly higher and higher, yet the next day, or three days later generally, I was fine after a day's sleep. With pills or shrooms I felt like I was dying, I was a real sick pup for a day at least

Potheads don't smoke nearly as much weed as cigarette smokers do cigarettes. Yeah weed has more tar.. yeah one marijuana cigarette is more dangerous than one tobacco cigarette. But tobacco smokers smoke cigarettes like they are nothing. People smoke packs a day, you couldn't do the same with marijuana.

I don't think weed is a gateway drug either. My dad was a pothead for years and he never got sucked into doing more serious drugs. Some member of my family still are. The majority of potheads I know don't do anything else. All signs just seem to be pointing to the fact that weed isn't the gateway drug people say it is.

I think you should read it again, he was making the connection between the nicotine still present in spliffs, depending on how you build them.... obviously blunts are different, just paper and weed. Therefore, spliffs can still be dangerous, more so than cigarettes because of the nicotine, tar, carbon monoxide and brain-cell mutilating greenery smartass

There is a big difference between being a drug user and a drug abuser.

I can have a perfectly good time without using drugs, mushrooms being the only ones I ever use, have used or will use. I use them not because of what I lack, but because of what there is to be gained or at least see. I said myself that I use them very rarely and on occasion then remembering where my mind was capable of going while on the influence of mushrooms, trying to work out how to reach that state without the drugs. So without having tried it and seeing the effects it has, you are in no way qualified to call me an idiot for using it. Drug users are not idiots, people who research the substances and chemicals they are about to use before they get into them, are not idiots. People who take drugs and abuse them, people who buy from random dealers on the street, are more or less idiots.

Drugs won't be legalised for the simple reason that everyone believes they are a problem.

Drugs are not the problem, the way they are dealt is the problem.

There will always be drug abusers and drug addicts but if people could go into a store and buy the drugs there'd be alot less muggings. Yeah, poor people are gonna still mug people for money to buy drugs regardless of where but then again so is an alcoholic.

I never understood who any government were to tell me what I can and cannot use. If their argument is "Drugs can endanger the people taking them and others around them" then all you gotta say is "Alcohol buddy. How does that fit in?". The world could also then benefit off the money being made by legal marijuana and mushrooms sales, being that they grow naturally and no production factories and labs are needed to make them.

You must not be very prone to addiction AC. You're lucky. My grandfather and father were both alcoholics and my dad was addicted to pot for years. He's clean now besides cigarettes so that's good but it took a lot of his life and most of my childhood for him to get there. Substance abuse basically runs in my family so by doing anything like that I'm pretty much chancing it. I've already done pot and alcohol but I try not to do anything too frequently.

I was hooked on heroin for years. I'm talking age 13 to 19 here. There isn't a drug out there that I haven't used. But I've been clean for the past 6 years (I'm 25 now). I'm proud of myself. I got the chance to turn my life around and I did.

I still smoke weed, drop acid, 'shrooms, angel dust... stuff like that. For recreational purpose. But I don't touch the hard stuff.

Whatever anyone else wishes to do where drugs are concerned, that's their decision not mine. Plus, I couldn't care less. It's fairly easy to judge and condemn someone based on their past mistakes though, especially if you're some spoilt, middle-class kid who thinks not being allowed to buy those spiffy designer jeans is the end of the world.

Just because you and some people you know have had bad experiences with drugs doesn't mean that that is the rule. Some people feel like experimenting...do so...then decide it's not for them and move on...never to dabble again. True, some people experiment and then can not break out of the cycle of taking drugs, but that says more about the kind of person they are, not the drugs...

My generalisations are usually correct for the most part. However there are exceptions to every rule.

Point is - There are far more idiots using drugs then smart reasonable people who know when they've had enough and know when to give it up. My highschool was filled with morons who did drugs just because it was cool and in, and the next day in school after doing drugs they'd go around bragging about. These people are stupid, and it's how the vast majority of casual drug users act, which makes the vast majority of them....yes you guessed it, stupid.

Altered perception is good and bad depending on who's perceiving and what they're perceiving.

Have you ever tried mushrooms? If not, you are in no place to say all drugs suffocate the mind. How can you have any ground to speak on the effects of something you've never been involved in? You can't. The fact that I have taken Mushrooms multiple times is proving your theory wrong. I have taken a drug that supposedly suffocates the mind and kills your equilibrium, yet I still aced all my exams and continue to function just as well as anyone else if not better. I'm not saying me having no bad times on drugs equates to there being an IMPOSSIBILITY of bad times on drugs, nor am I promoting the use of drugs, just showing you that it's a grey issue. Not a black and white one.

If I saw everyone I knew crash a car or a motorcycle, it wouldn't mean motorcycles are all bad and always crash. If I had that opinion and took the chance to ride one safely and responsibly, my opinion would change.

Bottom line to me is this: Until you have tried a drug such as mushrooms, you are in no strong stance to be telling someone who has, that they have nothing but negative effects.

It's a general truism of all things that people are affected by them differently. One person can experience awe at the sight of a remote island untouched by the processes of 'development'. One person can experience the same sense of awe when taking in New York, Taipei, Hong Kong, Tokyo et al. The different settings of the same experience are based on that individual's fundamental nature. This can be applied to drug useage. Some people when they smoke ganja become paranoid and introverted, whereas others experience a profound sense of happiness and well-being. If they smoke the same weed, then the only difference is in their psychological make-up. Drugs are not bad, but perhaps they are not good for you.

To add a little contradiction into the mix...I don't think marijuana is a drug, anyway...Neither are mushrooms...But my sentiments remain the same.

I think the real evil lies in the people who think they can tell others what is good and bad, rather than letting the individual come to their own conclusions.

I think it was majik mushrooms for me coz my mate, his g/f and I were watching some film, and we drank some mushroom tea and we were all high and felt anemic and stuff but his girlfriend goes in the kitchen then runs back in the lounge and starts shivering in the corner, but we were too spaced out to care but after about (what seemed like 5 hours) but was 15mins I asked what was wrong, and she said, "theres a guy in the kitchen" so my mate went in, ran in the room and started shivering in the corner saying theres a man in the kitchen and when I went in i forgot about this so called man they talked about and I was too scared to even move and i just stood there petrifed for like 5 hours man it was freaky.

OMG, I had a totally evil experience with 'shrooms.... my mate Emz had a bag and we'd been out all night, clubbing and then cruising, and the bag was in the glove compartment which, by about 5am, was kinda warm.... anyway, we got back to hers and both ate half the bag each, warm, soggy, mushy, crap, basically.... washed down with Dr Pepper. I was high as a f.ucking kite til that lunchtime and then I was sick to my stomach, I had diaorrhea (sp?) and everything I won't be going there again
