hey, i have a question about the PS2's driver options.

when i was browsing through the drivers list, there was an option to change the texture mapping, the options were:

* standard
* smooth

default is standard, but if i changed it to smooth, would i looks framerate or anything? just wondering if anyone else has done it.

I heard its just a way to mess up ur ps2 so u can buy a new one.

No, that Texture smoothing is only for ps1 games... say if you want to play a god-awfully pixelly twisted metal 2, or resident evil 1... you can smooth out the textures so its more bearable
