I really like cannonball, volcano and the blowers daughter. They're pretty mellow songs. So yeah does anyone else like this guy?

Hollywood star Renee Zellweger and singer Damien Rice have reportedly enjoyed a string of secret dates.

The couple, who are both intensely private, have spent cosy evenings together at a pub in Rice's native Ireland.

The pair got together after the Bridget Jones star split from White Stripes rocker Jack White in November, according to the Daily Mirror.

"Renee and Damien have been seeing each other for a while and they're both really happy," a source told the paper.

"They share a mutual love of music and both are very deep thinkers.

"Renee is pretty intense and Damien is something of a poet - so they're the perfect match."

Renee, 35, visited Dublin two weeks ago and stayed at the Clarance Hotel, owned by U2's Bono.

She was spotted househunting in Galway with a female friend and minder, prompting speculation she wants a home nearer to Rice.

Rice, 34, who was born in County Kildare, was catapulted to stardom by his platinum-selling album called O and scooped the US equivalent of the Mercury prize two years ago.

He has just taken three months off for an extended holiday - which coincides with Renee's plans for a year-long break.

He's an Irish folk/acoustic singer...his songs are quite relaxing and mellow....his song blowers daughter was recently used in the movie Closer..dont know if you have heard of it..but yeah that pretty much sums him up.

I already have a few songs from the suicide handbook...my favourite so far..from there being 'she wants to play hearts'..I'm going to check out the one you've recommended..but i do like most of Ryan Adams stuff in general...I downloaded some of his live acoustic songs which are great.. my favourite being 'firecracker'..i prefer the original acoustic version..it's sounds better compared to the version on his album 'gold'

i thought that about firecracker as well...ive got several versions...an even more stripped down acoustic version...and a ballsy speeded up version he did with elton john live in australia...both good

i think his new album, cold roses is released today in the US...the 15th in the UK

I LOVE Damien Rice! I think his music is so powerful and beautiful! It all started with The Blower's Daughter for me (yep, Closer lol) and then I borrowed his album from a freind and put it on my iPod. His album is amazing! There are some excellent songs on it

I just had an O moment with Damien (not like that...). He's cool. Perfect lazy Sunday afternoon music.

'Delicate', 'Cold Water' and 'Eskimo' are my favorites.
