not if you want animations...or transparent sections in it

When you upload it the server saves it as a gif...dunno why though

It's for uniformity. The files renamed to .gif are still JPEG's.

i put a GIF in my sig ( a moving file) but i was asked by raz to take it down because it took up too much memory (bollocks)

when u resized it, it wont let me save it as Jpeg..
