should American currency be changed?

Americas currency is based on gold. But I like cheese

I think the US should have the Euro sionce they are the lapdog of Europe anyway. Same with Britain

I dont think many americans would like that

personally i like cheese but i would end up eating all my money

I dont mind it changing but we tried to convert to the metric system a while back and It didnt work

The metric system is usefull though, your scientists use it, even though they call it SI or something.

Well it sounds cool but I think the metric system is easier. Probably because I was brought up with it.

The average American is also woefully ignorant.

And yes, I am American. And I can use metric and the American measurement systems interchangebly...many years of science classes

I used to life in America for a year and I still use the american system for peoples height but except for that.

Think you mean an auto-bahn, thats what you would call a freeway or interstate.

It is the truth, though. The average American can't even name all 50 states, nor has any idea how the government works.

I'd love to go to Germany...I took German all through high school

Yeah its Autobahn you can drive so fast its great, my fastest was 200 Km/h so far.

It's been nearly a year since my last German class (stupid college doesn't offer high enough level classes for me to take so I've had to put it on a break, unfortunately), so my German is kinda rusty. I used to participate in the German thread, though.

BEfore the euro was introduced, there were far more european millionares. Before the euro, most middle class families in spain and italy were technically millionaires.
