I don't address my parents my mom or dad...or their names either. I just say "hey" and hope they're listening...

Well actually I don't say Mum.

She's my Step-Mum so I call her by her first name.

mum is more common in ireland, nobody says mom... i say mam or nothing at all...

I often refer to my Dad as Lardboy despite him not being lard-ous.
