Mankind was a piece of shit when it came to wrestling. He was only popular for two reasons.

1. He was funny
2. He wasn't affraid to blade... a lot.

The Rock is the greatest natural all round wrestler to ever step into the squared circle. He had it in the ring, he had it on the microphone, he was, quite literally, the total package.

Kurt Angle however, is the greatest technical wrestler alive bar none, not even the great Brett Hart is in Angles league. *sigh* If only Kurts neck wasn't so buggered...for his career is going to be cut tragically short because of it.

well my 2 favorite wrestlers were stone cold and kane. as i started watching wrestling in 1997 till 2000, so i dont really know much about brett hard,owen hart, andre the giant etc. but i can say that mick foley/manking was very good, but just not legendary. i am sorry he just didnt entertain me in the ring, except for the fights he had with the undertaker in 1996 i think.

My vote goes to HBK, without a doubt. Hogan did a lot for the "sport" but HBK is the greatest entertainer to ever put on a pair of wrestling boots. You could see his charisma even when he was still with Marty Janetty. He just HAD it. There will never be another one like him. The only person I've seen come somewhat close was Jeff Hardy, but now he's in NWA:TNA and he's all weird.

Flair was the best pro wrestler of all time. He wasn't afraid to bleed. He could make his opponent look good, even if he sucked. He was the hardest worker in the game. He could make good matches against any kind of opponent. That is why he was given the belt 16 times. He wasn't a cry baby...unlike most of the wrestlers today-like Hogan.

Bret Hart had a heart attack a few years back and he has retired permanently.

The best wrestler of all time, in my opinion wold be Lou Thez. Second i believe would be Bruno Sammartino. A lot of the new wrestler's of today, could not hold a candle to the wrestler's of day's gone by.

The big boot and leg drop, as far as i am concerned was not real wrestling moves. He was also a sore loser, many times over.

Other great wrestlers were Ricky Steamboat, Nick Bockwinkel, Harley Race, Verne Gagne, Billy Robinson, Wahoo McDaniel, Ric Flair, Roddy Piper, Masked Superstar , Mr. Wrestling 1 & 2 Dick Steinborn was also a great wrestler.Then you can go back to the day's of Strangler Lewis, so it is a very big question of who is the greatest wrtestler of all time. Each wrestled in their own era.

Best ever: Between Ric Flair, Bret Hart and Kurt Angle

To be considered the best wrestler ever, you would have to go by their win-loss record. Not by in ring ability. Now Bruno Sammartino was Champion for 7 & 1/2 years undefeated. That record speaks for itself. No one will ever break that record. I repeat No one will ever break that record. His record is May 17, 1963 to to January 18, 1971.

Bret "Hitman" Hart was the best there is , the best there was and the best that there ever will be. Anyone who doesn't think he was a great wrestler doesn't know anything about wrestling and should stick to slapping their friends with halogen lights in their dad's garage.

Special mention for Jake "The Snake" Roberts, not a great wrestler but the man had an exceptional mic talent.
