After years of toiling with dial-up and 3MB 1 hour downloads ...I've finally got around to ordering DSL.

And I'm paying less, seeing as I was paying $29.99 for my 2nd phone line and $9.99 for dialup.

I got SBC Yahoo DSL for $26.95.
The slowest service though, 185k or something, still better than my current 21.6k!

But knowing my luck the DSL wont work or my computer will crash and die completely leaving me internetless and you Tex less!

Is it hard to connect a DSL modem and stuff?

Its easy, all you have to do, is disconnect you old second phone line and thats a pain in the butt....

Cable's better but more expensive as well.

We pay $50 TOTAL for all 4 internet connections through the Ethernet Router. My parents have 1, my step-sister has 1, I have one to be on the internet, and one for my Playstation 2 so I can go online to play games, and download extras for games like Metal Gear Solid 3. Not only is it a way of life now, but we need it anyway, my parents for work stuff, I couldn't go back to Dial-up ever, and because a couple of the games I asked my mom to get for christmas need broadband, so they'll be useless basically without it, and because I'd go ludacruious.

Well hey, the void between dial-up and DSL is so ridiculously huge, it's a start regardless.

I'm just going to be so happy that I dont have to dial-up anymore. I have Juno and its takes forever! And then all the disconnects!
