Hi, im sure this thread has been done before but its been a while, I hope. Any way, what do you think about the band Chevelle? Do you like them, hate them? Have you seen them in concert? or do you know anything about their new cd?

thier cd is pretty good but their live show is real boring ive seen them three times

I've seen them in concert. They played with Stone Sour. The thing is that I love thier songs. Seeing them live is awsome, but they didnt really talk to the audience any, all they did was get up and play and get back down off stage.

Closure is a great song. But I also like The Red and Send the Pain below...seems I am alone on that. Oh well *sigh*

Actually the whole CD withe the exception of 1 or 2 songs is awsome. I would recommend anyone who likes rock to buy it.

I'm not a major fan either but I like them three songs the best aswell.

God, I love Chevelle. One of the people I am in basic with went to high school with them.

They have a couple really annoying songs. They're not completely terrible, but their singer is a jackass. Generally boring as well.

I like Closure and Point #1.

Only song I like at all is Panic Prone, but I wouldn't go out of my way to hear it again.

They remind me of bands like Three Days Grace/Trapt/Cross Fade, *shudders*

But they were the originators of the sound that Trapt and Crossfade and Breaking Benjamin tried to reproduce. I love their sound... very original for the time it came out. Unique, and very catchy.

I bought their latest album (This type of thinking ... finally) and I really enjoyed it.

I just bought Vena Sera, and it is fantastic. Please, do yourselves a favor and buy it if you haven't already
