Hey Hey, that is not all. I have more but I have to take a better pic. Sure I'm proud, it took me a while to collect those, I just love having them arround . McFarlane toys r very nice and detailed, adn if someone tries to mess with them I give them the finger chop . I'm missing figurines of Batman and Wolverine, but I don't like the regular toys, cuz those is for kiddis, so I'm hoping to get some nice clay Batsie and Wolvie. U know those statuettes that r sold on conventions and stuff. I know they r expensive but I can't help it. I should off bought myself new clothing long time ago, but since I have all I need I spend that extra money on what u have seen so far.

Daywalker finally is back reading the forums . I love your collection, and congrats in keeping all in mint condition. I had that Batwing from the Batman3 movie, but I left it back at the US with some of my friends there (I loved that one)

Yeah, i've been out of circulation but made it back to the fold I like your Spawn collection, very impressive. I have some pretty kick a*$ Spawn items but they're boxed up I'll see if I can pull some out. The pics i showed are not even 1/4 of my collection. When my daughter was born, I had to give up a room. Once upon a time, I had a beautiful batcave study room all to myself but now it is gone

Lol, ofcourse u had to give up the batcave . Can't mix kids and the private Batcave , they make u wanna go insane, cuz they always wanna touch everything. I tell my friends not to bring any kids to my place cuz they would go nuts seeing all the nice toys, lol. Oh , and u really need a special garage for all that, dude. By the time u're 60 u won't even be able to make it to the bathroom from all the toys laying arround. The TOYS WILL KILL U MAN, U WILL CHOKE ON THEM , lol. I'm surprised that u don't wake up with a Batmobile up your butt. (joke :P)

It would be perfect if I had a garage with climate control. Having most of my items mint, morning cold/condensation is not my friend.

Oh man, now that my daughter has grown up and wants everything I have, we have my mint item, the duplicate I can play with and her toy so yeah, the batmobile up the butt comment isn't far from the truth

I'm going to have to admit here that I've never understood the point of collectables. What's the point of buying an action figure if you can't take it out and play with it? Why bother getting a comic if you're going to let it languish in storage rather than read it?

Well collectibles will be worth lots of money one day (like the first Batman or Superman comic). As I said, I buy 2 so I can keep one mint and play with the other. They're also great decorations like Britney Spears posters, lol. Just kidding, I don't even like her. But it's just all in what a person wants/likes and along with costuming, it's my hobby.

I've only been collecting comics for about a year, so i dont have a very big collection yet

i collect comics for about 10 years now, i started when i was 12
buying a comic each month or even less.
And now i'm buying more than 15 comics a month
a real addiction

I only have one in Mint Condition, and that's the one with Spawn on his throne . I'm not gonna let him out of his box, it's too pretty and valuable for me (it's a a deluxe edition). All the others I have I took them out so ppl and myself can admire the detail on them, the only condition is not to pick them up or play with them. All those figurines that I haev r not really toys to play with, they r all more like collectible items that just look good. Daywalker is right, it's all about u, and how u take these things to your heart. The toys that Daywalker owns r almost all for play, but if I had them I would also spread them out in my room and make scenarios. Personally if I collected something of Batman it would be models of his Vehicles.
Some ppl decorate their apartment with Ikea stuff, I prefer McFarlane Toys and Spawn posters. Movie posters, manga posters, comic posters, all things that I like my apartment full of .

I'm new to this board, but this looked like a good subject to jump in on...so.

I did an inventory a few days ago, over 800 comics stretching from mostly the 1970's to today and there are some from the 60's in there, and I have 9 graphic novels.

Some of the highlights are (to me at least)

What If? #1 v.1 where Spider-Man joins the Fantastic Four, kind of a weird story.

All New All Different X-Men, the issue after the Giant Sized special where the new team was introduced (unfortunately I don't have that) but it's their first time out and Thunderbird gets the axe, so that's worth a few bucks.

A few comics from the Human Fly and the Champions run by Marvel, cool stuff that's been forgotten.

A bunch of old black and white Conan magazines by Marvel

And much more. Kamandi: The Last Boy on Earth, a bunch of Superman, Spider-Man, Daredevil, Defenders, Invaders (which are pretty cool, if somewhat corny), Hulk, Supervillian Team-Up, Fantastic Four, Captain America and the Falcon. A bunch of older stuff.

For my newer stuff, a bunch of X-Men, Spider-Man, some Black Panther (which I think was an awesome book, along with The Crew, Priest is a great writer), Entire Ultimate X-Men run in TPB, Marvel vs. DC in TPB and a bunch of random stuff.

The older stuff was kind of a family heirloom from my dad, in reality, I'm only 15 and pretty lucky to have gotten all of that stuff.

next up is a rare chase Marvel Legends action figure of the Hulk. im not going to open it. i payed $6.99 for it but the trade-in value is now $20. believe it or not i was browsing a local KB Toys and i found this figure *undamaged* on the floor! so i hid it and came back later and bought it when i fetched my money lol. its older, so its not *great* detail, but it was early Marvel Legends (like in early 2002).

my Matrix Reloaded boxed set by McFarlane Toys (the best of the best ).

I had that yellow Wolverine once, I bought it in a mall in Tulsa. It was the last of its kind, all the others were wolverines with some action moves. I shipped the Wolverine home and my granny misplaces it when we moved. Bah

Since I'm probably movin to San Farancisco for a year, do u guys know any good comic shops there? Or can u tell me when's the convention in San Diego? I would love to go there

I just saw the venom bust, my dealer took it out of storage yesterday. It's really good. He's got that kinked tounge and all. My next two are Thor and Ironman(both ultimates) I'll have to wait for the surfer till my birthday in october; it's an older one and it's like $150. The reg. ones are more reasonable at $45

its not just the comic cover. its a 24x36" print, so its like 4 times the size of the comic cover.

I think my most prized stuff would be my entire toy collection, but mostly the 10-year old 12" X-men action figures--I have Magneto, Apocalypse, Weapon X, and Rogue. I also have several Venom figures that I haul around with me when I run errands--just 'cuz I'm bust doesn't mean I can't be happy, right?--as well as an unopened talking Venom action figure made 12 years ago, unopened Pokemon figures, my Voltron, Transformers, and original Ninja Turtles toys, and the rest...
In the comic dept, I have a pretty boss Transformer and GI Joe collection, lots of great Spidey and X-men stuff from the early 90's, including the age of Apocalyse stuff when they split X-Men into all those other titles, and a pretty great collection of Venom stuff as well.

I've never taken pics of my toys, but I guess it could be kinda fun. Like that guys on totallygraphic--the one that makes those hilarious GI joe stories--have any of you guys seen his stuff? I f*cking love that guy.

But overall both of the figures r really nice, so I try not to think about gundam or others like it. I must say that Gundam has influenced lots of artists, and that is cuz it has evolved many times, so u're bout to find some similarities.

Wow, u guys posted so much since I wrote last time. I'm getting lost here.

badsymbiote - u have a cool Omega red (if that was him) I like that one alot. The RocketTeam is also nicely crafted. Keep those Transformers safe!

Mane - ok, all my stuff that u saw is in the livingroom, I don't have anything in my room . I wanted to decorate my room just with lots of framed posters of Spawn and Manga, but since I might be moving to SanFrancisco soon I have to pospone all that stuff maybe for the future.
I put all that in the livingroom cuz I wanted everyone to see that collecting isn't that bad after all. MAny ppl tell u that u're a child, and an immature idiot for doing it, but when they actually see the collection they kinda take back all they said and turn gelous cuz they don't have any passions in life.

Mane u have a very nice collection of Marvel figures, and as I noticed u bought only the ones with greates detail right? That is cool man, I do that too.
I love the Beast figure and the Yellow Wolverine (very nice dude!), awsome colossus, and Sabretooth. Oh, and Dr doom looks great there, next time gimme a close up on him.
I've seem many types of LOTR figures and I don't know wich r yours. But nevertheless they look cool. I wanted to collect also but I copuldn't decide wich to collect. The ones with great detail or the ones with less., well I didn't have enough funds anyway lol, hahahaha.

I saw Aragorns sword though, it was made of plastic but it was full size and full detail. (the kings sword from Return of the King) I kinda wanted to buy it, but I would have to go through customs with it and Croatian custom agents can be real peckers.

What is that soldier next to the Box Set with neo? Left by the box. ??? Tell me!

If u guys liked my Alien vs Predator box set then u will enjoy the separate Preds from the movie, also found on Spawn.com. They r really done in great detail, alien too.

I just ordered a real size replica of Professor X's mutant detection device; Cerebro. It was expensive but for under $200 i had to have it.
Plus I just bought Ultimate Cyclops. He's got a goatee` but otherwise he looks good.
Torch comes in next month. Plus they just came out with a Sentinel bust.
The Thing, Magneto, Xavier, Shadowcat with Lockheed and the Black Panther are all on my list of soon.
