I'd vote for Resident Evil1 for Gamecube. Man, look at the lighting and texturing in this screen. My friends and I freaked out during this part.

Usually PC games have the better graphics. Personally I think Team Ninja did a great job with the graphics of Ninja Gaiden.

Half 2 and Re4 I think are really nice.

Out of all, Half Life 2.

Starfox Adventures, very realistic and very real! You could see ery detail of it was perfect, the sky, the ocean, the sand... everything was great! The water was shiny and the sun brightened up the sky! I'll post better shots!

Well, it still has great graphics. Graphics can involve artistic design, not just how real a world looks like.
I also the Wind Waker had great graphics.

Wind Waker does have great graphics, they look great, really really nice, but not me but I still love it, I have game

It's a Legend of Zelda game... although I think this game has been ruined, it's supposed to be about Hyrule, fields, ghosts etc, like the other games (Ocarina of Time is great!) But this is nothing like other Zelda games, it's supposed to be like another kind of year, years ago, how it was like (although I do like the game).

And if anything comes out with even better graphics "cause there is none with better graphics", Ninja Gaiden 2 or Dead or Alive 4 will take them down in a second!

Anything on Xbox! (75% better graphics than playstation 2) Dead or alive 3! (On dead or alive extreme beach volleyball the graphics were a little too good..)

Splinter cell chaos theaory and Ninja Gaiden has the best gameplay graphics and Gaiden also has very good cut scene graphics.

I think age of empires 3 deserves an honorable mention.

Prettiest water I've seen in a strategy game yet.

not true. most of the early xbox games were ported from the pc. and were not that great.

the ps2 pulled some great stuff this year, and figured out how to make graphics look better.

Final Fantasy X and X-2

X-2's graphics weren't really that much better than FFX's.

However, the cinematics for FFX were simply stunning, and the ingame graphics were very good, too.

Half Life 2, Doom 3, that one vin diesel game.. butcher bay or whatever

Doom3 has probably the best utilisation of graphics in a game... Never has black been so scary!

Anyone who used the duck-tape mod, in my eyes shouldn't be aloud to own that game!

HL2, ff7 in game vids were great for the time! (one of the first times I actually appreciated good graphics) and fable was quite pretty...

I will say it again...NINJA GAIDEN...well Halo 2 has shiny areas but still...as for quake..I never seen or heard of that game.

Ninja Gaiden is definitely good on the graphics scale. OXM gave it best graphics of 2004, over Halo 2.

HAVEN'T HEARD OF QUAKE!!!! Next your going to say you have only played doom 3.... You sir need a lesson in video game history!

NG is a very good game! Never has being a ninja been sooo much fun...

Well Doom3 or Quake4 rather since it uses the same engine but it makes better use of it, i'd say has the best graphics along with HL2 and FEAR have the best graphics in a game released so far, also if we are talking about cinemathic scences Blizzard is clearly the best, remeber that dwarf hunter in the WoW trailer? SOOO well done, you could see every hair and stuff very very very nice, also they make the characters in the cinemathic move like they ware real, very nice fysics in their programs
