^hahahahahhahahahhah *cough*

oohh lookit my liver...just coughed up my liver.....*points at liver*

baracustastic
U2 at Hampden Park. Should be interesting. Not that keen on them but my brother thinks they are the best band ever.

Slipknot and Lamb of God? Thats gotta be awsome.

Deathblow
Porcupine Tree.

Konjammenson
ah yes, slipknot is coming. you lucky though you get to see it a whole month before i do; they come here april 6th. they comming with lamb of god and shadows fall....gonna be a SIC show!!!!! happen to know why this is the subliminal verses tour? i saw them last fall and thought that was the subliminal verses tour....well, maybe not, it was promo'd by jagermeister

Df02
haha, been bought tickets to go to these 2 shows...but tbh i dont even know the lineups for them, all i know is My Chemical Romance, Coheed and Cambria, Alexisonfire, Thrice (ergh), Taking Back Sunday (tbh...i would like to see them lol, since i missed them at download cos they got bottled off haha), Funeral for a friend and few other bands. between the 2 shows all of them are playing, and i gotta check up on the exactl lineups, maybe post them later messed

Df02
found a flyer for 1 of em

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/michael.sargent3/ptastic/GIAN2.jpg

and is in association with cancer appeal, cant be a bad thing smile

Morning_Glory
no one good comes to my citysad

eggmayo
The only band that I would even consider paying for are the Darkness, who came here last year sometime.

Morning_Glory
I want to go to Manchester UK or London - to see Oasis this summer - but I cant cause Im in the states roll eyes (sarcastic)

eggmayo
Just get a cheap flight over here..

System of a down in June

and maybe Judas Preist in March.

loserib
preist is awsome saw em last year on ozzfest

daronisgod
System Of A Down at Manchester Evening News Arena in June, I want to go see them at Brixton as well, but I can't afford it atm, I'm gonna buy tix of ebay if I get enough money.

Korri
Yeah imk going big grin

daronisgod
Woohoo, I have tickets for Brixton as well now, I'm really pleased because I have a much better chance of getting right to the front at Brixton, hopefully I'll get to the front at manchester as well. *crosses fingers*

Libertine
I recently saw Ash, The Darkness, New found glory and Greenday in four months. Im gonna see a woman of no importance next month.

jaden101
bloc party tonight...kaiser chiefs...thirteen senses...KT Tunstall...nine in nails (the things we must endure to get our end away)...a few festivals as well...not bloody T in the park this time though...although james brown in on..

."Get up..a..get on up...stay on the scene...like a sex machine...HUH!!!"

laughing

Libertine
lol laughing out loud

Alpha Centauri
Nine Inch Nails at the Astoria, March 31st.

-AC

Df02
whos the confirmed support for NiN?

Alpha Centauri
The Crapsten Craps.

Aka The Dresden Dolls.

-AC

Df02
oh, phew...sum1 told me Alec Empire was supporting...id have been soo pissed off not to see that gig if he was messed

Deathblow
Ha, I'm seeing them on the 30th.

Alec's too good to be a support act, even for NIN.

Alpha Centauri
One request Def, don't reveal the setlist when you come back.

I wanna be surprised.

Oh yeah, and I added you to MSN.

-AC

Df02
i dunno actually, NiN arent only a great band, theyre pretty well established aswell...Alec is still a pretty new artist, in the solo sense anyway, and definately doesnt have the fan base.
he didnt even headline Fuji rock festival, and his fanbase out there is MASSIVE, they even have a comic book about him i think haha

Alpha Centauri
At The Drive-In were HUGE in Japan. Muse are also.

They always get a bonus track on their albums also. I guess coz of the price.

-AC

Deathblow
Yeah, but I meant purely in terms of talent. Seeing AE would be worth a whole show. It's like when I went to see Metallica, they were opened for by Deftones, who were really good, totally excelled themselves, when they had finished their set, I got up and went to leave before remembering that I'd actually come to see Metallica.

My lips will be sealed.

Cool. Although it hasn't been letting me log for the last couple of days for some inexplicable reason..

dean7879
my mate is beggin me to go and see avril lavigne in birmingham..he sed he will pay for my ticket...i hate avril
and my other friend wants me to go and see cradle of filth in wolverhamton...i'll probably go to that...danni filth is signing autographs in the town centre before the gig....that would be cool so i can call danni a big headed git in front of his face

Df02
altho im probably the biggest AE fan on the forum...id prefer to see NiN... actually thats because ive already seen AE 6times now and am lining up to see him 5 more times this year confused

Linkalicious
Jimmy Buffett on April 7th...

I'm going to be soooooooooo trashed.

Alpha Centauri
I saw Deftones with A Perfect Circle supporting smile.

-AC

Df02
i was at that gig aswell...quality, Wembly arena yea?

Alpha Centauri
Yeah, I wasn't too impressed with Deftones there. I don't think Chino's voice suits big arenas. I think the gig at Brixton was better.

-AC

La Vie Rêveuse
*nods in agreement*

(Even though I only went to the Brixton one...)

Libertine
Does anyone live in the North East cos i want to know what good bands are playing.

Norma Jean
I thought Filth was a girl?

dean7879

Norma Jean
laughing

Df02

dean7879
agreed..thats why i'll look forward to headbutting him when he comes to wolverhamton town centre to sign autographs

Df02
headbutt him? plan on kneeling down lol?

dean7879
lol well if i have to

Norma Jean
How short is it?

redheadgurl89
I have envy. You are so lucky.

Df02
just over 4ft i think he is haha

loserib

-AC

loserib

I don't think so, This is what I got of their site:

"Chronology MCMXCIV - MMV A live observation by Opeth"
Yes folks, that is the "title" for three exclusive gigs scheduled for NYC's Town hall centre (23/2), Chicago's House of blues (2/3) and LA's Wiltern theatre (14/3). These special seated events will consist of a chronologically played setlist, starting with music from the very first record "Orchid" and ending with vibes from the latest opus "Ghost reveries". These extended sets are exclusive to the three dates and there won't be any support bands on these nights. A good advice is to get your tickets quick as these are bound to sell out fast! Opeth and crew will also bring in extra production and screens in order to try and make this the ultimate Opeth live experience! The band promise a very varied setlist and songs never ever played before live! The setlist boasts no less than 4 songs that never before have been played on American soil and several others that haven't been played for years!
Thats the one Me and Lana want to get to.. Doesn't say anything about acoustic.

Well on the Opeth site and other sites it says the Chicago House of Blues will be seated for the show. I can't see them playing their heavier songs in a COMPLETELY seated venue.

Unless it means they start playing Orchid stuff on one night, then progress over the dates and end on recent material.
