botankus
I'm trying to change my username from "botankus" to "Botankus" with a capital "B," but it won't let me because it says I already have the username.

This appears to be an issue of case-sensitiveness; can it be fixed?

Thanks.

botankus
Does anybody ever check this forum?

Clovie
yes.
but no one but Raz could help you and he is aparently away

Corran
I think they specifically test user names ignoring case otherwise we would have many Users like:-
clovie,
cLovie,
clOvie,
cloVie,
clovIe,
cloviE,
Clovie,
CLovie,
ClOvie,
CloVie,
ClovIe,
CloviE

etc, etc, you get the general idea. I think you need to as Raz to make the b uppercase - PM him.

Clovie
why was i the example? What the f**k?

Corran
because everyone loves you and wants to be you big grin

Red X
Riiiiiight whistle

Clovie
very funny sad

yerssot
it would make sense to have it case-sensitive, as corran pointed out it would be very confusing to have people running around with the same name but having one capital letter different

Corran
I do.

Clovie
you do want to be such a looser as me? huh

JLred
lol....im looking for thje thread of deleting p.ms

yerssot
use the search function then

T.M
well mine is T.M but i sign in using t.m but i rather that so i don't have to put caps on to take them back off

and the name thing that has been mentioned would be very confusing
