Well if you pay close attention I think that there are small things in all the shows of the characters crossing paths. Like in Jin first flash back and he gos to beat up that one man, when he gos in the house Hurly is on the news in Korea.

Yeah jack was in the flashback. Shannon's dad was also in the flashback of Jacks. Shannon's father was the guy who collided with jack's future wife.
