Oh god it is hard to choose. I think Robert De Niro has had more great acting movies but Pacino's few may stand out in individual performances (i.e. Scarface).

Robert DeNiro for me, but I enjoy watching both.

al pacino...i enjoy his performances better

Al. He's got more range, his parts vary, and he's just overall more interesting to watch. Robert DeNiro, at times, seems like a one trick pony.

Al, on the other hand? He's been a real estate agent, a computer programmer, a gangster, a police officer, Satan...I mean..Pacino DEFINED range!

I would say Al Pacino he is the best godfather and I love him alot.Niro would be my second favorite through!jm

Well I think Al has done more good films. But I mean, Robert DeNiro is pretty great too!!! I mean, thank god we have them both! Or we would be stuck with Keanu Reeves and Tom Cruise!

I like them both...but i just prefer De Niro

Niro is better with movies that are funny then gangster movies.That is why the godfather is Al!jm

In my opinion, Robert de Niro. I've seen more of his movies than Al Pahino. So I picked him.

What BIG movies does Robert DeNiro have to his name, where HE single handedly carried the film, aside from "Taxi Driver"? That's right, not many.

I'd like to hear why everyone's picking him over Pacino.

Those arent enough good performances and good films? And none of them are funny films.

I think that They are both equal in acting talent, but i think that Deniro has more good performances and Pacino less bad movies. So, in acting talent, a draw and in good performances on screen, de niro. But also, pacino is great theatre actor, with many and many great performances on stage.

Pacino's great, no question, but DeNiro is more serious in his performances.
Al Pacino has an unfortunate tendency to come off as a parody of himself
at times. Robert DeNiro gets a lot deeper into his roles (not counting movies like Meet the Parents).

Tough call, but I pick Robert DeNiro.

His work in "Raging Bull" and "Goodfellas", among others seals that decision.

Also, "The King of Comedy" is a good example of his comic talents
