alright...I am working on a project for school...and I am comparing books to movies....and one of my choices is THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RINg.

It would be super helpful if you guys could point out specific examples of when the book and movie are different....

The Fellowship are all blindfolded when they first walk through lothlorien in the books but they aren't in the film.
Also in the book, Sam looks into Galadriel's mirror, but in the film it's just Frodo.

not copy and paste...rewording is always a good addition...copy and paste is in dire situations only...

plus this is just background reasearch...i have to write a paper, make a movie, and a poster....so the

make a movie? i thought u were just writing an essay! what's this for? media studies?

For example: Lurtz does not exist in the book, Lurtz is made up for the movie only, so he is a movie-character ONLY, too bad, cause he's cute!
Anyway, another difference is that there IS a battle in the book: Sauron vs Saruman, which is not in the movie (reason unknown to me)...

yeah, I dont have too, but i like making movies, and this one should be fun...

Im having people dramatically read portions of hte book...and then editing in movie clips and such...VO, etc. It should be a lot of fun if i manage to pull it off...
