thats by far the biggest hurdle imho. after that its just a matter
of perfecting isnt it? not that i presume to be an expert on this...it just seems logical.

i think in time there will be a wrist and fingers, and maybe in our lifetimes we'll get to see advancement in dexterity to the point where they can type, play musical instruments...anything really, depending on the ambition and talent of that particular amputee.

They just need to stump up the cash

Are the robotic limbs ever gonna be as fast and responsive as human limbs though? They'd need to be if you wanna play guitar with one.
