this comes from Norton's site itself:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/download.trojan.html

1. Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP).
2. Update the virus definitions.
3. Restart the computer in Safe mode (Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP) or VGA mode (Windows NT).
4. Run a full system scan and delete all the files detected as Download.Trojan.
5. Clear Internet Explorer History and files, if needed.

If not, reinstall everything.

If they find hackers or guys/girls who make virsus and such. I think they should cut off thier hands, or should be shot. There is not damn reason for creating this things.

i had the same prob before...updating it did the trick

Did it work yet?

I had some virus that completely wiped out my internet and all the drives. Had to reinstall the entire computer, but I'm good now. I think it was another Trojan one, because it happened about a month after I stopped downloading crap from Kazaa.

It's okay, and bump means make a old thread come back to the top of the forum by posting in it.

Although it's more annoying if you start a new thread instead of just posting in the old one.
