Some of the bands i hate are: Simple Plan and Good Charlotte and Avril Lavigne. They are all posers with no real skill or originality.

And U2 were a great band during the 80's, it's criminal that everyone thinks they suck just because of their new stuff. I mean ok, their last few albums have been godawful, but that doesn't automatically cancel out all the great stuff they made 20-25 years ago.

But thats just your opinion, I'm not saying that you aren't entitled to it, but there are people out there who like (probably love) them and they don't think they should stop making music.

I guess my point is that as long as there are people out there who want to listen to them, what reason do they have to stop.

My main point however is that buttcrack seems to think that they suck because they are old, which probably isn't the case, age has little or nothing to do with it.

I agree with you, i think they are basic and i feel as if i heard it all before! but i can see why some people like them. The Band i least like is The Offspring, theres somthing in that lead singers voice that really gets to me , i like the guitar riffs though.

By old I wasn't talking about their age, I was talking about their music, they have old music and I'm just not a fan of dieing music.
They HAD a few hits way back when and then they just got worse over the years. I wouldn't mind so much if they wern't on the top of the charts but it mystifies me how a band like U2 can be on the top of the charts for so long.
I'm not saying you have anything wrong with you for liking them, just pointing out that I don't like them. I am a big fan of opinions, I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion and other people should respect that fact but that doesn't seem to happen.

I can't say I really disagree with that... by the way I don't particularly like them, I've heard a couple of their songs that I think are rather good, probably the ones you are referring to.

I just took umbrage at buttcrack inferring that they were too old, if you are buttcrack and you are saying that you were referring to their music, I'm sure you can see why I might not have understood you properly.

No way are AFI the worst band ever. They lost their touch a long time ago, but they were pretty good once.

The worst band ever (and this should be official in my opinion) is Insane Clown Posse.

1. Simple Plan
2. Green Day
3. Good Charollett (or whatever)

Why?
Because they're f-ing posers and they're gay! They're music is horrible and it's stupid. (sorry for the people who like them) but its the truth so suck it up or spit it out
