Can Hercules win?

He can? I thought the Blob had resistance to injury.

How?

I recall in an old comic (Im old) that the HULK defeated the Blob by pulling the very ground out from under the Blob. At this time the Blob needed to be rooted (touching) the ground for his powers to work - no ground contact no super power - Herc could do the same thing easily.

Herc would beat the crap out of him, then write a song about his stunning victory. Here's his ode to the Constrictor:


"'Twas a chilly autumn morn as I ambled through the leaves,
And by chance I came upon the Constrictor's band of thieves!
I smote his two companions but was trapped in his embrace!
So with all my godly might, I pulled back my trusty mace
