Draco69
Only those stationed on Earth. Discuss.

Mider
please explain who megadon and imperiux are?

Draco69
Mageddon is a semisentient doomsday weapon manufactured by the Old Gods of Urgrund. It looks like an enormous squid and it can amplify the worst and most hostile treats of a planet's population, triggering world wars. To speed up its mission, Mageddon can select beings in the doomed planet to act as "remote senders". These people manifest a big ectoplasmic eyeball around their upper body to report to the central Mageddon unit. If attacked, these senders can shoot enormous blasts of energy. Though the Old Gods finally fell prey to their creation, Mageddon was trapped in a gravity singularity in space-time. Billionst of years later, Mageddon escaped and moved to Earth. The planet only survived when Superman traveled to the heart of Mageddon and absorbed the anti-sunlight that empowered it. Mageddon manipulates the reptilian instincts of homo sapiens to bring the lifeforms of Earth to the brink of destruction. They riot, murder, rape, and kill for no reason. Mageddon than unleashes a phenomenal supernova destroying the entire solar system. The planet only survived when Superman traveled to the heart of Mageddon and absorbed the anti-sunlight that empowered it.

Draco69
A destroyer of galaxies, the cosmic conqueror Imperiex created a notorious reputation - instilling fear even into Mongul, a conqueror himself. When Imperiex destroyed Warworld, Mongul sought the aid of one of his greatest, most powerful adversaries: Superman!

Together, Superman and Mongul traveled into the far reaches of space, and eventually engaged Imperiex in combat...or so they thought. The entity they battled was what would become known as a "probe", a foot soldier for the true Imperiex. Soon afterwards, Imperiex sent a mass of probes to assault the earth, triggering a major war. Imperiex's invasion of the planet proved to be one of the worst assaults the earth has faced so far. Several cities and villages around the world were decimated. Several major metahumans lost their lives, or were lost during the onslaught. Among the most notable included Aquaman, Maxima, Massacre, the legendary Frank Rock (who gained fame as the courageous Sgt. Rock of World War II), Guy Gardner, and the Amazonian Queen Hippolyta. Ultimately, it took the combined efforts of Superman and one of his deadliest foes, Darkseid, in order to defeat Imperiex.

While the extraterrestrial terror was beaten, the after-effects of its assault remain far-reaching. The city of Topeka was nearly destroyed, and Paradise Island had to be reconstructed. Heroes such as Guy Gardner a.k.a. Warrior, Aquaman, and Frank Rock - all thought to have been killed in the conflict, have only recently resurfaced. And President Lex Luthor, who so far has had a scandal-free term, narrowly avoided a big controversy when it was revealed that he could have had prior knowledge of the invasion; and acted to save more lives.

For Superman, the effects of the war were truly great. The Man of Steel found himself questioning his campaign to fight for truth, justice, and the American way. His father-in-law Major Samuel Lane (who served in President Luthor's Cabinet as the Secretary of Defense) was murdered by Imperiex probes. His death was very painful for daughter Lois Lane, causing her to briefly question her faith in Superman's ability... and even his loyalty to her, as her husband. For a short while Superman adopted a black background to replace the gold in his classic "S" insignia as a way to commemorate those who died during the Imperiex invasion.

A destroyer of galaxies, the cosmic conqueror Imperiex

well if that's true they take marvel earth.

anyone one with the power to destroy a galaxies has earth for lunch.

if he is a destroyer of galaxies how did
Superman and one of his deadliest foes, Darkseid, defeat Imperiex.

seem wierd.

Draco69
One word: Lex Luthor. With his vast intelligence, he managed to find a weakness in time. With the help of hundreds of other variables of course.

kgkg
well if there is a weakness and lex found it so can doom i guess.

and doom is not the only smart dude in marvel;

doom , mr.fan , iron man , doc oct , leader etc.

but i see earth so down since two powerful dawgs are at it.

Draco69
The only people I think would be smart enough and resourceful enough to find a weakness would be Doom and Mr. Fantastic. Although Doom would probably be trying to build a extradimensional portal machine to save his own sorry ass.

kgkg
doom is more of powerseeker he might try to take their power if that's even possible.

Draco69
Yeah, he is greedy bastard.

illadelph12
Imperiex is a task. Surfer, Sentry, Hulk, Thor, Hyperion, F. Richards, Apocalypse, other heavy hitters combined would have to engage him after the weakness was found. Catch there is that if his powers are energy based, Surfer would sense his weakness immediately with his cosmic awareness, or a character like Karnak of the Inhumans that can find the weakness in anything, though he may not have the means to exploit and take advantage of it.

As for Mageddon, all it would take is a teleporter like Gateway and Cloak to defeat it while Professor X uses Cerebro to counteract it's hatemonger mental effects on humans. Gateway teleports Cloak to the heart of Mageddon and Cloak encompasses Mageddon's power source into the Darkness Dimension, shutting it down. Or Surfer and other energy manipulaters (Thor's hammer Mjolnir) could shut it down.

kgkg
well here is how i see it for illadelph12's plan to work pre time is needed.

but if these two being comes to MU to destroy it rite a way not much anyone can do.

people like sufer , THor might surive but MU is still doom

Draco69
Surfer isn't on Earth. He's not in this fight.

Good argument. However, Mageddon has powerful forcefields to counteract teleportation. People like Raven couldn't teleport in because of the technology.

illadelph12
Understood.

Scratch Surfer and insert Magneto, Polaris, Molecule Man (Owen Reece) or Dr. Strange for the energy signature reading. Karnak could still find it himself since that's his primary ability (finding the weaknesses in people and things).

Are Mageddon's force fields energy based? Regardless, a character that can travel extradimensionally could get past it. Cloak can travel in and out of the Darkness Dimension and traverse great distances in seemingly short periods of time, then reemerge in Marvel Universes' dimension of reality. He could reemerge into reality within Mageddon's core and and either encompass it in darkness himself, or he could bring Thor and Dagger along with him so that Thor could use Mjolnir to short circuit him.

Imperiex is going to be a beast though without Surfer, but Molecule Man (Owen Reece) is actually on par and could substitute the lost firepower. He has half the power of a cosmic cube due to an "accident".

Draco69
Very True. However, the Marvel Earth has only twenty minutes before Mageddon detonates. I doubt that they can conference with each other, come up with a plan, and somehow manage to find their way into Mageddon's Heart in such a time span.

Hegemon875
lol everytime I see Mjolnir now I feel like its my name because well it is, at least in City of Heores.

illadelph12
"Very True. However, the Marvel Earth has only twenty minutes before Mageddon detonates. I doubt that they can conference with each other, come up with a plan, and somehow manage to find their way into Mageddon's Heart in such a time span."

Not in twenty minutes.

Once Mageddon sets off the alarms of the Avengers, F4, and Professor X, they'd need about 15 minutes to formulate the plan, and then all they need to do is have a time travelling character travel back 2-5 minutes before Mageddon arrives and inform Reed or Xavier of what's going to happen and what their plan was, then they enact it by contacting Thor, Cloak and Dagger telepathically and giving them the particulars.

Draco69
Time travel doesn't work for some reason. Hour Man tried it several times but he said that Mageddon was controlling the "bends of time." If the master of time and space says Mageddon won't allow time travel then time travel won't work.

crazyspinz
well u said superman beat those too (well thats all i got to before i got to lazy to finish reading)

supes is notrhing compared to marvel earth. so earth wins.
and if thats not good enough reed uses ultimate nulifier.

Draco69
Superman didn't defeat Mageddon alone. It required nearly every human being on Earth to defeat Mageddon. The JLA managed to turn the entire human race into superpeople. DC Earth also had help from the 853rd century, a interdimension god speedster, Metron and finally an Entire army of Angels.

Draco69
If Reed uses the Ultimate Nullifer, then the Marvel Earth would lose anyway.

crazyspinz
well then, that makes things alitle more complicated...

is this earth heroes and villains with all there resorces at hand?

Draco69
Everyone on Marvel Earth. Unless they want to be vaporized, the Marvel villains had better help out.

Khellendros
Imperiux is walking around wasting everyone's sh*t when Mageddon shows up and starts making everone go off the deep end. Imperiux gets pissed that a big squid is stepping on his turf and goes after him. Marvel heroes and villians kill whoever is left standing.

crazyspinz
exelent....

unlike DC earth where everything is brute force or raw power marvel heroes and villains have other ways of doing things.
the chances of dr doom not tricking a cosmic entity to going away are slim to none, and the minds of these dudes will be so messed up theyd be screwed, with the likes of cable, nate, X, DARK PHEONIX (shes on earth), and u said they would have all of there resorces at hand, so doom would be able to use the beyonders power, apocalypse would be able to enpower anyone he wanted with the powers of horse men (hulk, cable and other super powers like that) king thor would be there, 8th day juggernaught, and the rest of the examplars, and the asgaurdians, its not looking good for the cosmic evils here...

Khellendros
Asgardians aren't stationed on earth. Good job remembering the Exemplars, though.

illadelph12
smile

Hmm...

Well then extradimensional time travel.

That would work.

If they could leave the same plain of reality as Mageddon, then travel backwards in that dimensions time stream, they could re-enter the timestream Mageddon exists in from any point they desired. All it would take is a character that can travel in between and to different dimensions, and a character that can travel through time to pull it off. Like Franklin, New Sun, Cloak, etc.

For instance, Cloak, Dagger, and Forge could travel to the Darkness Dimension, then use Forge's time machine to travel back in time in that dimension, then travel back to a parallel time period in the base dimension with their time travel being out of the influence of Mageddon since it was in a different dimension. I know it's a reach, but it's highly feasible considering the abilities the characters have.

kgkg
does reed still have the ultimate nullifer lol

Sentry
Sentry, Apocalypse and his horsemen, and Thor will handle the Ego wannabe, and Sentry will absorb the anti-sun or the crap that's powering Maggedon. Rachel Summers, Franklin Richards, Dr. Strange, Exemplars, Doom, Avengers, Xmen, Excalibur, Alpha Flight, Squadron Supreme, SHIELD, ummm don't forget Zeus. He was born on earth in Greece. You don't believe me here are his stats from

Marvel Directory:

If you notice the last sentence, "Place of Birth: Mount Lycaem, Arcadia, in what is now Greece"

First Appearance: Journey Into Mystery Annual #1
Origin Issue: not yet revealed

Real Name: Zeus
Aliases: Jupiter, Jove (his Roman names)

Zeus is a god, and is practically everywhere, and he can see into the future limitedly, so forseeing the oncoming disaster that will take place, he will take a host body and join the fight alongside his son, the Prince Of Power, Hercules.

Bye bye Imperiux. laughing laughing out loud

Khellendros
Here's the army I'd pick. This is seperate from my "Bad Guys beating the hell out of each other" scenario.

Sentry, Cable, Shamanic Nate Grey(linked with Franklin richards and using his powers), War Hulk(with Captain America's shield), Holocaust, Apocalypse, Dr. Strange, Dr. Doom, the Exemplars, Graviton, Magneto, Polaris, Scarlet Witch, Molecule Man, Iron Man in Thor buster armor and 8th Day Juggernaut.

Okay, first order of business is to get rid of the sushi wanting to blow up the solar system. All the heavy hitter telepaths not listed above (and the telepathic Exemplar) get together in the cerebro room. They start working on shielding the minds of everyone on earth from Mageddon's influence and feed his own paranoia back to him.

Meanwhile, Cable links up the minds of Nate Grey, Graviton, Magneto, Polaris and Molecule Man into one massive gestalt mind. Using their combined powers, they drain Mageddon's power source and start collapsing him in on himself. While they are busy, Sentry and Juggernaut stand guard and keeps Mageddon's eyeball people away.

Next is the Galactus ripoff. Dr. Strange, Dr. Doom and Scarlet Witch get together and use some massive chaos magic to severely disrupt the workings of his robots. Iron Man and Holocaust drop in and lead an army of lesser heroes (Namor, War Machine, Spider Man, Avengers, the Xmen, etc.), Making way for Apocalypse, his Second in command War (hulk), and the remaining Exemplars. Apocalypse draws on all the energy he can, making himself as strong and fast and invulnerable as he possibly can. He and Hulk start getting in the first hits, while the machine maker Exemplar whips up a machine that f*cks with the strength of Imperiux's armor. Once his armor is weakened, it's dogpile on the jackass for the Exemplars.

Mageddon is not standing up to his power being drained and replaced by a small black hole. Imperiux can't stand up to Apocalypse, Hulk being powered by two realities, and the Exemplars. But, even if something goes wrong, they could just call in their ace in the hole...

Ghost Rider, bitches! On blast of hellfire and some quality time with the penance stare and Imperiux is crying like a little girl until Doom comes along and jacks his armor.

Sentry
Good one Khellendros.

Imperiux and Maggedon go down either way. Happy Dance

Khellendros
Yeah, but Imperiux is definitely bones in yoru scenario. He's especially vulnerable to Olympian magic, you see. laughing

Beyonder
Ummm...I don't know this one. But Black Panther does have a cosmic cube. Wishes for Imperiex to turn into Kalibak.

Strange pulls out some spells and talismans.
Molecule Man assist Strange. Imperiex gets turned into Spidey's foe the Walrus.

Doom contacts Kang for assistance. Magento, Ultron, Mandarin, Apocalypse, and Leader also assist in a plan to deal with Maggedon.

That said and done. All you need is BP with the cosmic cube, Molecule Man, Strange, Reed, and Doom.

RSSR
Jean Grey with the Phoenix Force alone would counteract Maggedon's mental effects.

Khellendros
Hell, Black Bolt could probably walk through Imperiux' bots. He unleashes the equivalent of a nuclear explosion every time he shouts.

Khellendros
Someone else post, I like this thread... sad

Sigh... Denial. sad If they had the nullifier it would be over before it started. You got so many marvel variables for Imperuix and Maggedon to win. You got Franklin Richards, Rachel Summers, King Thor, Apocalypse and his Horsemen, Ultron, Dr. Doom, Hyperion, Sentry, Black Bolt, Iron Man and his hordes of armors he gives out to his workers to help battle the probes, the Exemplars, Genis Vell, New Sun, Nate Grey, Magneto, Zeus, Molecule Man, Temugin who has awakened Fing Fang Foom to battle the probes, etc.... I could go on and on, but it seems to me that The Ego wannabe, and the Galactus rip off are toast here.

Oh, if you read more Silver Surfer comics, Surfer has adopted earth as his home, and is living their when he's not saving another part of the Galaxy. laughing

kgkg
well if they have the cosmic Cube not much of a fight is it.

Sentry

Your right, with the cosmic cube, it's not much of a fight, but some people can't take it when their threads are not going down how they want it to.

Superherovandal
what is this ultimate nullifier

Hegemon875
weapon used by the fantastic 4 in their first encounter with galactus to defeat him (not sure if they used it or threated its use)

kgkg
"ultimate nullifier"

It's a GUn that can distory the universe , so Imperiux & Mageddon will be vaporize with the rest of the galaxy/universe.

From what i heard it can easily distroy a galaxy , but i also heard it full power can distroy the universe as well.

kgkg
no they did not use it.
