What do you think?
BENITO
well it would have to be on very late night
TheFilmProphet
I'm not sure this would work though as many people would immediately associate or compare this to Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

i think it would be easier if it were animated verus having to make a live tv show were the actors from the movie can't make it to the shootings so that the cast would have to be replaced. so, yes, a tv show of blade would be cool. maybe on cartoon network or something.
TheFilmProphet
True, and I can think of the perfect person to do his voice since I don't think Wesley Snipes would be willing to do it himself. I think Michael Jai White who played Spawn in the feature film would be great for the voice over of Blade. Or perhaps he could play Blade in a live-action series.

Blade Heads for the Small Screen

Reuters reports that the "Blade" franchise is headed for the tube:
Spike TV president Doug Herzog announced the network will adapt the theatrical franchise "Blade" as a series for early next year. New Line Television and Marvel Studios will produce the project, with David Goyer, writer-director of "Blade: Trinity," executive producing. Goyer is not expected to write the pilot.

goyer's involved?
*cough*nightstalkers*cough*
TheFilmProphet
He is mainly involved just because of the simple fact that wrote all three films and directed the final film. Although I am sure he will have no input in the project, he is merely an executive producer which is a title handed to nearly anyone and everyone.
Apparently after the television film of Blade is released on Spike TV the Blade television series will soon afterwards go into production and air on the same network given the TV film receives enough viewers.
