Powers: Telekinesis, Telepathy

Nate is arguably the most powerful psi talent on the planet. Moira McTaggert even suggested his power could rival that of The Phoenix. He has mind controlled entire crowds, created tremendous TK blasts, and rearranged matter. In spite of his vast power, he has little experience in its use and even less discipline. The Dark Beast has suggested that Essex implanted him with a failsafe that will make his power consume him and destroy him by the age of 21.

In the aftermath of a battle against Madylene Pryor, Nate seemingly lost his telekinetic ability. However, he discovered that it was in fact not gone but rather held in check by his own subconsciousness. Later on his telekinetics was returned to him. His telepathy was weakened following a massive disruption on the astral plane caused by the Shadow King, but he has recently regained that as well.

Skills: Among other talents like flying, Nate is a mind reader (at one point a professional,) and Three Card Monte champ.

Character Traits: Nate has the experience of a two year old packed into the raging hormone filled body of a teenager, so at times he can be pigheaded and explosive.

Yeah he sacrificed himself to save the world. it was a f'ucking gay ass ending written to kill him off. and hes not coming back either.

in more detail, he dispersed himself to every lving organism so an alien harvester couldn't feast on our planet. i've come across a lot of other fans in this forum..i guess no one looks in this sub forum or cares heh

X-Man was my favorit book and I have almost every issues of it and the annuals and one-shots, too. Plus almost every guest-appearences of him in other books

I stopped reading X-Man when his book, Generation X & X-force all started a new direction under. Can't remember the name of it. Nate was & is one of my favorite characters. it wasn't a normal X book since he didn't like or trust the X-Men much. I missed issues here & there. But it was such a great book. I didn't even know he died till just a few months ago. I've heard he wasn't coming back. But I eager await the 'Rebirth of Nate Grey'. Give his AOA outfit back cause it looks so cool. I have his toy, which I look at everyday. If anyone knows anything about his return, please let us fans know

But I think there were some serious overestimations in the petition. Millions of fans and most popular fanbase, huh? Whatever, I wish they would really make him came back. But if he will be back he will surely be that shaman again and I didn't like that aspect of him at all

Marvel's Revolution concept was interesting but it effectivly killed X-man and Generation x......

We can hope that Nate pops up in the future and not that $hitty Shaman BS!

thanks. i do believe that nate has atleast one million fans all around the world. if u think about all the people that have computers and how many seach on the web and then how many post on forums like this one - there has to be atleast one million fans for nate grey with atleast 5 million who know who he is. in the WHOLE world i'm saying.

Plus, u cant make a petition and expect them to do anything if you have mediocre estimations. "a lot of ppl like nate"...thats not appealing to a business.

they'd have to somehow exorcise nate from every living being on the planet to effectively bring him back. and, considering they revamped him as the shaman to set him apart from cable, bringing him back as anything less would raise the same problems, especially considering cable's recent spike in power...

X-Man might come back with some measure of popularity now. He's an exclusive character along with Cable in X-Men Legends 2 on PSP.
