Has anyody read the first issue of the episdode 3 comic (based on the screenplay).

The first issue goes from the opening scene (anakin and obi saving palpy from dooku and grevious)

up to where padme tells anakin that she is pregnant.

That comic ain't released yet.

I only saw a few pages of the comic. I've ordered the special signature editon.

Funny that Dooku has at least one hand in the comic when Anakin kills him. I guess they had to soften it for the little kiddies. He looses both in the movie... i think.

But in the movie Dooku has no hands and in the comics he still has one, also he says ''Protect me Chancellor'' and i thought it was something like ''You promised me amnesty!'' though it will be cool to see a desperate Dooku

Yeah, I had heard the amnesty comment also...but remember that the scripter and artists start on the adaptation long before the movie is done...even the novelisations differ somewhat from the actual films, as have the comics from all 5 previous movies.

If anyone's interested, there's an online comic called Theater Hopper that I read quite often, and for the past few days it has been using Episode III in its story. Take a gander if you're interested. There are 3 days in the sequence so far but it may go on longer.
