Is it me or are there remarkable similarities between Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Harry Potter?


Buffy (The Chosen) = Harry ( The Boy Who Lived )

Xander (sidekick) = Ron (sidekick)

Willow (smartass) = Hermoine (even bigger smartass)

Giles (mentor) = Dumbledore (mentor)

Spike (Peroxide badboy) = Draco (Peroxide Slytherin boy)

Anya (weird girl) = Luna (even weirder girl)

Harmony (annoying foe) = Pansy (annoying pugface)

Dawn (always gets kidnapped) = Ginny (always gets kidnapped)

Angel (Angsty vampire) = Remus (Angsty werewolf)

Faith (been to jail/has a thing for leather) = Sirius (been to Azkaban/has a thing for leather)

Wes (snotty British bookworm) = Percy (snotty British bookworm)

Drusilla (completely nuts) = Bellatrix (completely loony)

Just my thoughts.

theres loads of comparisons with HP and other programmes/movies..this one can be added to list ..

True. However I meant in personalties and certain traits.

Although I'm sure a lot of girls would love the Harry/Draco thing.

Hermione - the literal female - Sam - the literal female

Ron- retarded friend - Pipin - retarded friend

Dumbledore - Wizard, looks after harry - Gandalf- wizard, looks after frodo....
