i recommend you download this (admittidly large) programme from NASA

worldwind...essentially gives you access to satallite imagery they you can control

you can even zoom in on your own house (if you live in certain parts of the world)

amazing stuff

Another program that is cool is Celestia. You can zoom anywhere in our galaxy. You can watch how Jupiter looks from its moons. It is really awesome.
