Since there is no official word on the production of this movie (especially since no script has been written) the status is "in talks".
Original writer/director Victor Salva has plans to write the script, but no word if he will direct (chances are likely he will).
Rumor now has it that the plot would take place over 20 years after the events of the second.
The plot was first rumored to be taken place in western times, which would explain the creepers choice of clothing in the present day.
This film has been in talks since before the sequel was released back in '03

i think number one and two sucked

2 wasn't scary at all it wasn't gory......but gore isn't what makes a movie good in my opinion.....if salva wants 3 to be a success he needs to make it more like the 1st one.... the creeper was more like stealthy and "in the shadows more" which made it somewhat frightening.....in 2, he was just too out there..and he doesn't even look scary....just weird

The 1st one was enjoyable(in my opinion) the 2nd one got boring and it was full of annoying characters.

I think Jeepers Creepers 3 shouldn't be touched but then again if it were to come out I'd hire it and watch it.

Final Destination 2 sucked big time. the movie goes against everything they say in the first movie, had blatant contradiction after blatant contradiction, put another nail in Tony Tods coffin, had some really shit deaths and in the end had a good premise but they totally wasted it in the delivery.

Eh, I could care less whether or not if they make a third one. I'd rather they didn't, but I don't work for Hollywood so I can't control what they decide. Still, I won't go see it. Instead of wasting my money on a potentially crap film, I'll just go to the nearest movie-rental place and rent me some good movies instead. That way, I'll save time, money, sanity, dignity...and a lot of other shit.

I was at the Rock and Shock Horror Convention in worcestor, which is how i met him in case anyone was wondering. he was really nice and he was talking to me and my dad about how while they were filming jeepers creepers two they were gonna go out to 7 eleven in costume but they decided not to because people have guns. haha ...and hes really good looking in person. I happend to ask if they were makin another one and he said yes we are and as i left he told me to watch out for it.





I hope they come up with some really good idea. A prequel would be great. We will see.
