ok, this i am sure has been posted but i need clarity, i am a bit confused. all i am wanting to know is the ages of anakin and obi-wan from ep. I to ep. IV, so basically, set it up like my theory below, thanks!

PM - Anakin - 10, Obi-Wan - 25

AOTC - Anakin - 20, Obi-Wan - 35

ROTS - Anakin - 22, Obi-Wan - 37

ANH - Anakin (Vader) - 40's???, Obi-Wan - 60's???

Just need some clarity, oh god, well better say it...............BRING THE FLAMES!!!!

Not so sure about Obi-Wan's age. That's always been debatable.

I always figured he was around 30 in TPM....

TPM: Obi-Wan: 25 Anakin: 9
AOTC: Obi-Wan:35 Anakin: 19
ROTS: Obi-Wan: 37 Anakin: 21
ANH: Obi-Wan: 56 Anakin: 40 Luke:19
ESB: Anakin: 42 Luke: 21
ROTJ Anakin: 43 Luke: 22

I don't find Obi-Wan ANH age convincing... especially considering that Alec Guinness was 63 in ANH. I have the feeling he was supposed to be older in ANH, but this was changed to fit the prequels...
I also feel that Vader/Anaking was supposed to be a crumbled old man in ROTJ, at least 60-something, not 43. Sebastion Shaw was 78 in 1983.

I thought there were 3 years between Eps. II & III so:
TPM Ob1-25 Ani-10
AotC Ob1- 35 Ani-20
RotS Ob1- 38 Ani- 23

Also, DEFINITELY 3 years between 5 & 6

Wasn't it more something like 2-3 years between IV and V, and 1 between V and VI?

Maybe that bounty hunter on Ord Mandell took a LONG time to deal with....plus Luke has mature more than a year...

Um...its like 6-9 months between TESB and ROTJ

Shadows of the Empire set that up.

as far as i know it's 10 years between I and II, 3 years between II and III, 20 years between III and IV, 3 years between IV and V, and 6 months between V and VI

nope,the time gap between 2 &3 is meant to be in real time, so 3 years between AOTC & ROTS

TPM : Obi-Wan: 25 Anakin: 9

That is if Obi's starting age is correct. Anankin was supposed to be 9 in TPM..

i dont understand how padme was ment to be 14

she didnt look 14 and how does a 14yr become queen?

In most cases yes. But on Naboo they elect queens, just the title. Amidala was her royal name and she is in no way related to Queen Jamilla or the new one ( i forget her hard to pronounce name). Its just a title. But the queens are elected. Remember in AOTC when Ani says ' I heard they even tried to amend the consitution to keep you in office' and Padme says ' I was relieved when my 2 terms were up'. Very much based on US govt from the sound of that exchange.

That one seems to be correct, except that I think it is 19 years between RotS and ANH.

Okay, go to the official site use search for "timeline" and in more than five seperate places it clearly shows ESB as taking place 3 YEARS AFTER ANH.

I think the only timeline in dispute now is that between ESB & ROTJ

Its bedtime for Plaguey. It IS about a year between 5 and 6, and I was SO looking at the wrong stuff for confirmation.
