What happened to Bryan Singer?

'The Usual Suspects' was a great, great movie!...It had great dialogue, excellent characters and an intriguing plot...

It notified the world to the birth of a certain 'Bryan Singer' as the 'man-to-watch' in the directors chair...The world of twisting, edgy, cult movies was his oyster - needing only to be peppered and shucked, to demonstrate the innate truth of the turtle...BUT - check it out, it's a BIG 'but'...

Then he goes and makes a bunch of stupid movies about one specific set of the Mister Men characters...So boring! Was he simply corrupted by the $$ in his eyes, or did he actually go mental?

He failed in bringing one of the greatest ever comic series to the big screen...

He failed... nothing to do with the subject matter...
