Has anyone read the book Johnny Got His Gun by Dalton Trumbo?? I really loved it, anyone else out there like it too?

I've been meaning to read it for years. I believe it's the inspiration for "One" by Metallica.

IT is one of the best books, it gives you a realistic look at war, and it makes you rethink everything you have ever been told bout the morality of war and fighting for words...and it is very graphic and gross, but it's amazingly written..please read it and disscuss it with me, no one else seems to have read it either

I heard it is reall a tear jerker..is that true?

I didn' t think it was a tear jearker, but yes ,it's sad,but such a greatly written book. It's a very realistic, jeark you into it book.
