anyone read this Vietnam book ( fiction )
it is prolly my favorite of all time now a days

i heard about it.. but haven't had a chance to read it. what is it about?! is it any good?

its about this dude .... Richie Perry ... goes to Vietnam ( i cant remember why ) and befriends a bunch of soldiers ... then when they start going on patrols ( kill any enemy you see pretty much ) then all hell breaks loose .... people dying here and there ...... its a pretty good book ... not as violent as you think it would be ..
