Murdered, in some reports over 600 young women in what was supposedly an attempt to retain her youth by bathing in their blood.

Storm
20 - 2000 victims, depending on the source. I doubt she, despite all the myths, bathed in blood.

WindDancer
All I know is the myth that she was a vampire mistress.

Were the estimates that high?

Was she not imprisoned in a tower in her castle?

Linkalicious
I thought she was a villain from Harry Potter. laughing

A register in her own handwriting would have been discovered in her home that included the names of over 650 victims.

*Nods.*

Imprisoned for life in one of her castles where she died.

In her OWN handwriting? Why on earth would someone keep a record of something like that?

I read a book chronicling the Family Dracul (fictional obviously) that linked her to Vlad...being her cousin....it was utterly ridiculous. She wasn't a vampire, she was crazy.

Corran
droolio killing women and bathing in their blood. She's my hero.
