ok so my friend made this poem what do u think?



Masked
Who this girl is,
no one will knows.
For she is the star,
of her own private show.
Fearless, and ready to fight,
standing alone in the dark of the night.
Her talents lay undiscovered,
the beauty is covered,
as she waits for a moment just right.
The knowledge in her mind,
the character in her soul,
is almost to much, for one to know.
She waits and she hides,
the truth and the lies,
if only you could see.
Her thoughts are masked,
present and past,
waiting for each to be seen,
She sits and she waits,
she waits to find,
someone whom to reveal her mind,
maybe one day,
someone will see,
just how much, this girl could be

Its ok, sounds a bit too emotional though...Sorry, maybe its just my personality. I like this one, though.

You nature poets think you've got it,
hostaged somewhere in Vermont or Oregon,
so it blooms and withers only for you,
so all you have to do is name it:
primrose -
and now your writing poetry,
and now you ship it off to us,
to smell and envy.

But we are made of newspaper and smoke
and we dip your roses in vats of blue.
Birds dont call, our pidgeons play it close to the vest.
When the moon is full we hear it in the sirens.
The Pleiades you could probably buy downtown.
Gravity is the reciever on the hook.
Mortality,
we smell on certain people as they pass.

I have this one in the poetry thread, but decided to show off...



i looked into your eyes
and fell into a deep abyss
you walked towards me
and i thought i would collapse

you pressed you hand upon my chest
and my shirt unbuttooned there
it fell to the floor
along with your pleaded skirt

the bed grew ever closer
and our passion overgrew
my hands rose up your hip
exploring every curve

you looked into my eyes
as our bodies pressed together
sweat poured from between us
as our fingers inner-twined

i open my eyes but you are not there
i have been resting, i slowly sit up
i see a picture of you that i have drawn
it seemed so real at first

i place your picture in my art book
and finally turn out the light
you are just a fantasy
but you were real for just that moment

moving.....

justjakk cool!!! you have great imaginations and you put it into words perfectly...

all of those poes were really powerful and full of emotion...they were wonderful
