do you think marvel and dc will create new heros and villians?

yes........ but they'll never replace the classic guys...... regardless of how many people think Batman is rediculous or that it's crap that Cap can't stay within the limits of his "peak" human powers

They also buy up indie labels sometimes (Wildstorm, formerly independent, operates under DC now...not in the same universe, so they won't be bumping into Superman, but at least it's new comics)

They also do alternative things like DC's recent Sandman series...the main characters were abstract entities like "Dream" and "Destruction". Occasionally a new major hero/villian emerges, but most of the time they do other stuff like what I mentioned.
